What does a virtual office in Gurgaon cost?

Is a Gurgaon business address accepted for company registration?

Short answer: a virtual office in Gurgaon can work for a filing, but acceptance turns on documents rather than on the building. Neither Wezoo nor this article can tell you that a given address will clear. What we can do is set out what the authorities ask for, so you know what to request from the operator before you pay anything.

For GST, the application form REG-01 asks you to pick a State and a District at the very first step, before you enter anything else (GST portal, Apply for Registration). Gurugram is in Haryana. A Delhi address and a Noida address are different states, which is the single most expensive thing to get wrong in the National Capital Region: they sit side by side in the National Capital Region and a registration in one does not travel to another.

Proof of the principal place of business is a defined list, not an open question. The GST portal’s own check list of documents required for GST registration names a property tax receipt, a municipal khata copy, an electricity bill, a rent or lease agreement, a consent letter, or a document issued by government. For a virtual office you are in the rented or shared category, so the operator has to give you a document from that list.

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs tightened this up in Instruction No. 03/2025-GST of 17 April 2025. For shared premises, it says the applicant may upload the rent or lease agreement together with any one document establishing ownership of the premises, such as a property tax receipt or municipal khata copy, and that no additional documents should be sought beyond that. The same instruction tells officers to approve an application with no deficiency within seven working days, and sets a thirty day route with physical verification of the place of business where an applicant is flagged as risky or has not completed Aadhaar authentication. Physical verification is the clause to read twice: somebody may turn up at the Gurugram address.

One practical note for a business that already has a registration elsewhere. The portal allows up to five hundred additional places of business on one application, and documentary proof of the nature of possession is not required for every one of them (GST portal, Additional Places of Business). Tower B puts the Regus floor at the tenth level of a campus that reads as technology and back office rather than finance. Spaze I-Tech Park is the curved glass block on the Sohna Road corridor, and Regus is on the ninth floor. This is the best connected of the seven on paper: public transport nearby, parking, a lounge, a coffee and tea bar and a restaurant in the building. Golf Course Extension Road is where newer Gurugram has been building, and M3M Urbana is one of its mixed retail and office blocks. Public transport and a public parking lot are both listed nearby. For a team already living in the southern sectors, this is the address nobody has to cross the city to reach. Postcode 122002, the same as MG Road.

Which Gurgaon districts carry the most weight for a business address

A registered address is read, not visited. That makes the district do work it never does for a desk you sit at, and it is the reason the seven are not interchangeable.

MG Road is the strongest of the set for anything a bank, a landlord or an overseas client will see. It is the oldest commercial spine in the city and the one a reader outside India is most likely to have heard of. JMD Regent Square is the only Wezoo address on it.

Sohna Road and the Spaze cluster read as established corporate Gurugram without reading as old. The 122018 pincode is distinct from the MG Road block, which is useful if you want an address that is obviously not a shared mailbox on the same famous street as everyone else. 49 Sohna Road sits here, with Welldone in Sector 48 on the Badshahpur stretch.

Unitech Cyber Park reads as technology and services. Two separate Wezoo listings sit in the campus, Tower B at 122001 and the main building at 122003. For a software or back office company the campus name does more for credibility than a street name would.

Golf Course Extension Road and the southern sectors, which is M3M Urbana in Sector 67 and MNB-6P in Sector 65, read as new Gurugram. Pick one of these if the people who will collect post actually live out that way, because the honest tiebreak between two legible addresses is who has to drive to it.

Who uses a Gurgaon business address, and who should not

A virtual office in Gurgaon fits a company entering Haryana from outside and wanting a Gurugram registration without a lease. It fits a consultancy whose work happens on client sites and whose only fixed requirement is that statutory post arrives and gets answered. It fits a founder in Delhi or Noida who needs a Haryana presence for one contract. And it fits a distributed team that needs one legible address on the website rather than a founder’s flat.

It does not fit several situations, and these are worth naming plainly. If your team needs to work somewhere more than a few days a month, a virtual office is the wrong product and the money is better spent on a desk. If you need to prove an operational presence rather than a correspondence address, a plan that only handles post will not carry it. If regulated activity is involved, financial services and anything licensed, assume the regulator will look harder than the registrar and ask the question before you file.
