A virtual office in Dehradun is an address, not a desk. Wezoo lists two buildings in the city that offer one, and this page is about what those two addresses actually cover, what the GST portal asks of an address like this, and how to request one.
Dehradun is the capital of Uttarakhand, and that is the whole point of a business address here. A state capital address is a state address, and in India the state your address sits in decides which tax jurisdiction you file in. The two listings below are the only virtual office addresses Wezoo carries in the city, so the choice is narrow and the differences are easy to see.
Wezoo snapshot: Dehradun virtual offices
- Buildings listed on Wezoo: 2
- Listed virtual office price: none published on either listing
- Operators: Regus, HQ
- Postal code on both addresses: 248001
- Listed on both plans: business address, mail handling, call answering, local phone number, meeting room access
What does a virtual office in Dehradun cost?
Neither Dehradun listing publishes a price for its virtual office plan. That is not an omission on this page. The two buildings carry a priced ladder on their private office side, and nothing at all on the virtual office side, which means the plan is quoted when you ask rather than shown on the listing.
Treat that as useful information rather than a gap. A business address is a service bundle, and what you pay turns on which parts of it you take: the address alone, the address with mail handling, the address with calls answered in your company name, meeting room time on top. An operator cannot put one number on that until they know which of those you want. If you want a figure before you commit, ask for the plan in writing with each line itemised, so that the quote for the Doon IT Park address and the quote for the Haridwar Bypass Road address can be read side by side.
If what you actually need is a room rather than an address, the prices for the same two buildings are published on the private office side and we list them in our guide to office space in Dehradun.
Is a Dehradun business address accepted for company registration?
Two separate filings hide inside that question, and an address is judged differently by each. GST registration goes to the tax administration. Company registration goes to the Registrar of Companies. Neither authority approves an address in advance, and no listing page decides a filing on your behalf.
The GST side is the better documented of the two, and it is where a Dehradun address earns its keep. The GST portal states that the principal place of business needs to be located within the state where you are applying for the new GST registration. An Uttarakhand GSTIN therefore needs an Uttarakhand address, wherever your head office happens to sit, and a Dehradun address is an Uttarakhand address. The portal also says that state and centre jurisdiction are displayed on the basis of the PIN code entered in the principal place of business tab. Both Wezoo addresses in the city carry 248001, so on that one point the two buildings are interchangeable.
The portal is equally direct about how a shared address is filed. If your principal place of business is a co-working space, it tells you to select Shared as the nature of possession of premises, unless you hold a valid registered sub-let agreement with the provider. A serviced business address is filed under that same heading. For premises not otherwise covered, the portal lists a copy of the consent letter together with a document supporting the consenter’s ownership, such as a Municipal Khata copy or an electricity bill copy, and adds that the same documents may be uploaded for shared properties. That is the paperwork to ask the operator for before you start the application, not after.
Company registration is a second filing with its own attachment list, and that list is set by the Registrar, not by the building. We have not read the Registrar’s current list for this page, so take it from our national guide to virtual offices in India and confirm it on the day you file. The guide to virtual offices for GST registration covers the tax side in more depth.
One difference between the two Dehradun listings is worth noting here, because it is the listings talking and not us. The DDPM Boulevard listing says the Haridwar Bypass Road address can serve as your business address in Dehradun. The 44A IT Park listing says you can use the Doon IT Park address as your business address and add mail handling, and then tells you to confirm registered-office rules with the operator. Read both as what the provider offers. The filing stays yours.
The 2 virtual office addresses on Wezoo in Dehradun
Two buildings, two serviced-office brands, opposite ends of the city. Take them in this order.
1. 44A IT Park — Doon IT Park

Second floor at 44A, Sahastradhara Road, inside the Doon IT Park on the north-east side of Dehradun. 44A IT Park is run by Regus, and the listing places it among a community of IT and tech companies, which is the single strongest argument for picking this address over the other one. If your company is a software firm, an agency or a consultancy selling to technology buyers, an address inside the city’s IT park reads correctly on an invoice and on a Google search of your own name.
The listing describes a brand-new, high-quality building with superfast WiFi and open-plan flexible workspace, and puts Jolly Grant Airport at around 32 km away. Practical detail on the ground: the listing names a State Bank of India ATM and Max Super Speciality Hospital nearby, and the Sahastradhara natural spring sits at the far end of the same road. Breakout space, catering and a staffed reception are listed at the building, which matters for a business address because the reception is who signs for your post.
The virtual office plan here covers a business address, mail handling, call answering, a local phone number and meeting room access on demand. The building also lets you sign month to month on the private office side, so if the address turns into a room later you are not renegotiating the relationship from scratch.
2. DDPM Boulevard — Ajabpur Kalan

Fourth floor at 40 Haridwar Bypass Road, in Ajabpur Kalan on the southern side of the city. DDPM Boulevard is run by HQ, and the listing puts Dehradun railway station around 4 km away with Jolly Grant Airport within reach. It also points to the Uttarakhand Secretariat as nearby, which is the part of this address that does work for you: if your business deals with state departments, a bypass-road address a short drive from the Secretariat is a sensible place to receive post.
The building itself is described as a state-of-the-art workspace with glass facades and a lot of natural light, with catering on site. The virtual office plan covers the same bundle as the other address: a business address, mail handling, call answering, a local phone number and meeting room access when you need a room for an hour.
This is the listing that states outright that the Haridwar Bypass Road address can serve as your business address in Dehradun. That is the provider’s position rather than a ruling, but it tells you the operator is set up for the request and will not be surprised by it.
Which Dehradun districts carry the most weight for a business address
In a city with two listed addresses, the district question is not about coverage. It is about what the address says and where you will stand when you need to be there in person.
Start with what the district does not decide. Both addresses carry 248001, and the GST portal derives state and centre jurisdiction from the PIN code you enter. Two addresses on the same PIN therefore put you in the same jurisdiction, and anyone telling you that one Dehradun district registers more smoothly than another is selling you something. The district is a positioning decision, not a filing one.
Sahastradhara Road and the Doon IT Park sit on the north-east edge of the city, where the technology companies are. An address there groups you with your own sector, and for a software or services company that is the stronger signal of the two. Haridwar Bypass Road and Ajabpur Kalan sit south, on the artery traffic takes into and out of Dehradun, closer to the railway station and to the state administration. An address there reads as a general commercial address rather than a sector one, and it is the easier of the two to reach from the station on a day trip.
There is a practical test that settles it for most people. Take the address you will have to visit when the operator needs a signature, when a courier will only hand over a parcel in person, or when you want the meeting room for an hour before a train. If you will arrive from the railway station, the southern address is the shorter journey. If you will arrive from a client in the IT park, it is the other one.
Who uses a Dehradun business address — and who should not
The clearest case is a company registered elsewhere that needs to be registered here. If you need an Uttarakhand GSTIN because you sell into the state, a Dehradun address gives you a principal place of business in the right state without taking a floor you will not sit on. Founders who live in Delhi or Noida and run an Uttarakhand entity are the same case in reverse.
The second case is the consultant or small firm that works from home and does not want a home address on an invoice, a website footer or a public register. A business address separates where you live from where your company receives post, and that separation is worth more than it costs.
The third is a distributed team that passes through Dehradun a few times a year. Meeting room access is part of both plans, so the address doubles as somewhere to meet a client rather than a cafe table.
Who should not take one. If you need a desk on most days, this is the wrong product and the two buildings both have a private office side instead. If goods, stock or deliveries of inventory need to live at the address, a serviced business address will not take them. If you cannot get the consent letter and the supporting ownership document from the operator in writing, do not start the GST application, because that is the paperwork the portal asks for. And if you will never visit the city and your business genuinely needs face-to-face presence in Dehradun, an address alone will not create it.
How to request a virtual office in Dehradun
Four steps, in this order.
Pick the address first, not the plan. The address is the part you cannot change later without re-filing. Choose between the IT park and the bypass road on the positioning argument above, then talk about services.
Send the request through Wezoo. Neither listing is a checkout, which is why the button says request rather than book. You tell the operator what you need, the operator comes back with the plan and the price.
Ask for the paperwork in the same message. Specifically, ask for the consent letter and the ownership document that supports it. Operators that run virtual offices issue these routinely, and asking up front turns a two-week delay into a one-day one.
File with the documents in hand. Select Shared as the nature of possession unless you hold a registered sub-let agreement, enter 248001 as the PIN so the jurisdiction fills correctly, and attach what the portal asks for.
For the fuller version of all of this, including the cities with more than two addresses to choose from, our national guide to virtual offices in India is the place to start. Nearby, Chandigarh, Delhi and Lucknow each carry their own listed addresses if your filing could sit in a different state.

Virtual office in Dehradun: frequently asked questions
How much does a virtual office in Dehradun cost?
Neither of the two Wezoo listings in Dehradun publishes a price for its virtual office plan, so the plan is quoted on request. Ask for the quote itemised by service, because the address on its own and the address with mail handling and call answering are different products.
Will a Dehradun address give me an Uttarakhand GSTIN?
The GST portal states that the principal place of business needs to be located within the state where you are applying for the new registration, and Dehradun is in Uttarakhand. It also displays state and centre jurisdiction on the basis of the PIN code entered. Both Wezoo addresses in the city are on 248001.
What do I select as nature of possession on the GST application?
The portal says that if your principal place of business is a co-working space you should select Shared as the nature of possession of premises, unless you have a valid registered sub-let agreement with the provider. A serviced business address is filed the same way.
What documents does the GST portal list for a shared address?
For premises not otherwise covered, the portal lists a copy of the consent letter together with any document supporting the consenter’s ownership of the premises, such as a Municipal Khata copy or an electricity bill copy, and notes that the same documents may be uploaded for shared properties.
Can I use the same address for company registration?
Company registration is a separate filing to the Registrar of Companies with its own attachment list, and that list is not the GST list. Ask the operator for written permission to use the address and confirm the current requirement before you file.
What is included in a Dehradun virtual office plan?
Both listings carry the same bundle: a business address, mail handling, call answering, a local phone number and meeting room access. What you take of it is what you pay for.
