office space in Ghana — Wezoo

Office space in Ghana is a short, concentrated market, and knowing that before you start looking saves a lot of time. Wezoo lists five serviced buildings in the country, all of them in Accra, carrying 102 private office units between them, with listed monthly starting prices from GHS 2,585.

This guide covers what is actually in those five buildings: where they are, what a unit costs, how many people each one is rated for, who can rent one, and how to request a space. Every figure below comes from the live listings, not from a market report.

What you get with office space in Ghana — and what you do not

All 102 units in Ghana are listed as serviced offices. That means an enclosed, lockable room inside a managed building, taken on a monthly term rather than through a lease you negotiate yourself. Every single unit in the Ghanaian listings carries a minimum rent term of one month. There is no twelve month commitment buried in the shortest option, and no three year lease anywhere in this set.

The building facilities are listed per address, and they differ. Breakout spaces and catering appear at all five buildings. On-site parking is listed at 19 Kofi Annan Street and at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel. Nearby public parking is listed at Atlantic Tower and Silver Star Tower. Silver Star Tower is the only one of the five listed as being near public transport, and 19 Kofi Annan Street is the only one with a lounge in its facility list.

Now the honest half. The listings describe the room and the building, not a package. They do not specify whether a meeting room, a reception desk or a kitchen is dedicated to your unit or shared across the floor, and they carry no furniture inventory and no internet specification. Those are questions for the operator, and they are the right questions to ask in your first message. A private office is also not a registered business address product: Wezoo currently lists no virtual office availability in Ghana, so if an address for correspondence is all you need, this is not the product that gives it to you.

One more distinction worth drawing, because a lot of Ghanaian office search runs through property portals and agents. What you are looking at here is not a floor leased on your own contract. It is a furnished room in a building someone else runs, available by the month, with the shared facilities already in place. An agency listing for a whole floor on Liberation Road and a 12 m² serviced room in the same district answer two different questions. If you want the floor and the lease, an agent is the right route. If you want a door that locks next month without a lease negotiation, this is. And if you do not need the room at all, only a credible Accra address to put on your paperwork, that is a different product again: our guide to virtual office in Ghana covers the same five buildings as addresses rather than as offices.

Where office space is available in Ghana — the cities and how many buildings in each

There is one city, and that is the honest version of this section.

  • Accra: 5 buildings, 102 private office units

Every listed building sits in Accra, and four of the five cluster tightly in the airport district on the north side of the city. Atlantic Tower stands on Liberation Road, Silver Star Tower in Airport City just off the same road, OMA Building in the Airport Residential Area, and 19 Kofi Annan Street a short distance north of them. The fifth, the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel, sits further south in central Accra, which makes it the obvious pick if your work pulls you towards the ministries and the central business district rather than the airport.

Nothing is listed outside Accra. No Kumasi, no Takoradi, no Tema. It is also worth saying that Wezoo lists no coworking or day office availability in Ghana at all, so if you were hoping to start with a hot desk and grow into a room, the first half of that path is not currently available here. Office space in Ghana, on this platform, means a private office in Accra.

What office space costs in Ghana

The lowest listed starting price in the country is GHS 2,585 per month, for a 4 m² room rated for one person at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel. The highest is GHS 52,275 per month, for a 40 m² unit rated for up to 15 people at Atlantic Tower. Everything else sits between those two numbers.

Two things about those figures matter more than the figures themselves. First, a starting price is a floor, not a quote: it is the lowest the operator publishes for that unit, and the rent term it belongs to is not published alongside it. So treat GHS 2,585 as the bottom of the range rather than as the price you will be offered, and ask for the quote. Second, the spread inside a single building is wide. Atlantic Tower alone runs from GHS 3,485 to GHS 52,275, which means the building name tells you almost nothing about cost. The room does.

Here is the lowest listed monthly starting price at each of the five buildings, so you can see where the entry points sit:

Building Lowest listed starting price Highest listed starting price Units listed
Movenpick Ambassador Hotel GHS 2,585 GHS 41,360 19
Atlantic Tower GHS 3,485 GHS 52,275 25
19 Kofi Annan Street GHS 4,210 GHS 18,945 16
Silver Star Tower GHS 4,469 GHS 35,752 19
OMA Building GHS 9,038 GHS 31,633 23

Availability is the other half of the cost question, and the listings are unusually explicit about it. Of the 102 units, 52 carry no availability date, which is the signal that they are open now. The remaining 50 carry a future date, the earliest of which is 1 November 2026. If a specific room is the one you want, the date attached to it decides your timeline, not the price.

All five buildings with office space in Ghana

Five addresses, every one of them run by Regus, every one of them in Accra. They are listed here largest selection first.

1. Atlantic Tower — Accra

office space in Ghana - Atlantic Tower by Regus, Liberation Road, Accra
Atlantic Tower by Regus, Liberation Road, Accra

The widest choice in the country sits in this one building: 25 private office units on Liberation Road, running from a 5 m² single room at GHS 3,485 a month up to a 40 m² unit rated for 15 people at GHS 52,275. If your headcount is uncertain, this is the address that can absorb the uncertainty, because you can move up and down inside the same building rather than moving buildings. Nearby public parking, breakout spaces and catering are listed here. Request Atlantic Tower on Wezoo

2. OMA Building — Accra

office space in Ghana - OMA Building by Regus, Airport Residential Area, Accra
OMA Building by Regus, Airport Residential Area, Accra

Twenty-three units in the Airport Residential Area, and the one address in this set with no single-person room: the smallest unit here is 6 m² rated for two people at GHS 9,038 a month, and the largest is 20 m² for up to seven at GHS 31,633. That makes it a small-team building rather than a solo one. The entry price is the highest of the five, which is the trade for a tight range aimed squarely at teams of two to seven. Catering and breakout spaces are listed. Request OMA Building on Wezoo

3. Silver Star Tower — Accra

office space in Ghana - Silver Star Tower by Regus, Airport City, Accra
Silver Star Tower by Regus, Airport City, Accra

Nineteen units in Airport City, and the only building in Ghana listed as near public transport, which matters if your team does not all arrive by car. It also carries the smallest room in the country, a 3 m² single at GHS 4,469 a month, with the range topping out at 22 m² for up to eight people at GHS 35,752. Nearby public parking, breakout spaces and catering are listed alongside the transport link. Request Silver Star Tower on Wezoo

4. Movenpick Ambassador Hotel — Accra

Movenpick Ambassador Hotel by Regus, Accra

The only one of the five in central Accra rather than the airport district, on the hotel’s Presidential Floor, and the building with both the cheapest and the roomiest options in the country. A 4 m² single starts at GHS 2,585 a month, the lowest listed price anywhere in Ghana, and the ceiling here is 16 people in a 40 m² unit at GHS 41,360. Nineteen units in total, with on-site parking, breakout spaces and catering listed. The hotel setting also solves a practical problem that comes up more than people expect: somewhere decent to put visitors who have flown in. Request Movenpick Ambassador Hotel on Wezoo

5. 19 Kofi Annan Street — Accra

office space in Ghana - 19 Kofi Annan Street by Regus, Accra
19 Kofi Annan Street by Regus, Accra

Sixteen units, and the gentlest price ceiling of the five: nothing here is listed above GHS 18,945 a month, with the range starting at GHS 4,210 for a 6 m² room for two and reaching 24 m² for up to nine people. If your budget has a hard upper limit, this is the address where you are least likely to be shown something that breaks it. It is also the only building in the set with both on-site parking and a lounge, alongside breakout spaces and catering. Request 19 Kofi Annan Street on Wezoo

How much space you need: team size, desks and floor area

Every unit carries an occupancy figure, and it is a ceiling rather than a recommendation. A room rated for six holds up to six; it does not mean six is the right number. So the rule when you filter is simple: the rating has to be equal to or larger than your team, never smaller.

Across Ghana those ceilings run from 1 to 16, and the floor areas from 3 m² to 40 m². What that looks like in practice:

  • One person. Three buildings list single-rated rooms: Movenpick Ambassador Hotel from GHS 2,585, Atlantic Tower from GHS 3,485 and Silver Star Tower from GHS 4,469. The smallest of them is 3 m², which is a desk and a door rather than a room you will hold a meeting in.
  • Two to four people. Every one of the five buildings carries units in this band, and this is where the choice is widest. Entry rooms for two start at GHS 4,210 at 19 Kofi Annan Street.
  • Five to nine people. Still available at all five addresses, with 19 Kofi Annan Street topping out at nine and OMA Building at seven.
  • Ten and above. Only two buildings go this far: Atlantic Tower, rated to 15 in a 40 m² unit, and the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel, rated to 16, also in 40 m². If you are a team of twelve, your shortlist in Ghana is those two addresses.

A note on floor area, because the numbers look tight if you are used to seeing office space quoted per workstation. These are the areas of the enclosed room itself, and they sit alongside the shared breakout space in the building rather than including it. Do not read a 17 m² room rated for six as cramped without seeing what else the floor offers. Ask what is shared, and ask to see it.

Who can rent office space — individuals, startups and established companies

All three, and the listings are set up for all three. A one month minimum term on every unit in the country is what makes that true: it is short enough for a sole trader who is not sure where they will be in a year, and it is equally workable for an established company opening a Ghanaian office without wanting to sign a lease before the first hire lands.

If you are working alone, the single-rated rooms at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel, Atlantic Tower and Silver Star Tower are the entry point, and the monthly term means you are not making a bet on the next twelve months. If you are a startup of three or four, every building in the country has something for you, so choose on district and facilities rather than on availability. If you are an established company, the two buildings with ceilings above ten are where to begin, and the one month term is a genuine advantage when you are testing a market rather than committing to it.

Who this is not for, stated plainly. It is not for anyone who needs space outside Accra, because there is none listed. It is not for anyone whose budget sits below GHS 2,585 a month, because nothing is listed under that. It is not for anyone who needs warehouse, retail or industrial space, which is a different market entirely. And it is not for anyone who only wants a business address with no room attached, because no virtual office availability is currently listed in Ghana.

How to request office space on Wezoo

A private office is requested rather than confirmed on the spot, because the operator needs to confirm the specific room, the term and the price before anything is agreed. The sequence is short:

  1. Pick the ceiling, not the room. Decide your headcount and filter for units rated at or above it. That removes most of the 102 in one step.
  2. Check the availability date. 50 of the 102 units carry a future availability date. If yours does, that date is your move-in date, whatever the price says.
  3. Choose a district. Airport City and the Airport Residential Area for four of the five buildings, central Accra for the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel.
  4. Send the request. Use the link on the building you want. Say how many people, when you need it from, and how long you expect to stay.
  5. Ask the three questions the listings do not answer. Is the meeting room dedicated or shared, what is included in the monthly figure, and what internet is provided.

Ghana is a new market on Wezoo, so there are no city guides for Accra to send you to yet. If you are comparing West African options, the Nigerian market is the nearest one we cover in depth: office space for rent in Nigeria covers 25 buildings, and Lagos sits about 600 kilometres east of Accra, which is a short enough hop that teams genuinely do run both. Further afield but still in English, office space in Kenya covers 24 buildings for anyone weighing an East African base against a West African one.

Frequently asked questions about office space in Ghana

How much does office space cost in Ghana?

Listed starting prices run from GHS 2,585 to GHS 52,275 per month. The lowest is a 4 m² single-person room at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel; the highest is a 40 m² unit rated for 15 people at Atlantic Tower. A starting price is a floor rather than a quote, so request the room you want to get a figure you can plan against.

Where in Ghana can I rent office space?

Accra only. All five listed buildings are in the city, four of them in the airport district and one in central Accra. No space is currently listed in Kumasi, Takoradi or Tema.

Can I rent office space in Ghana as an individual?

Yes. Three of the five buildings list rooms rated for one person, starting at GHS 2,585 a month, and every unit in the country carries a one month minimum term, so you are not committing to a year.

How big an office do I need for a team of five?

Look for units with an occupancy ceiling of five or more; all five buildings carry them. In Ghana those rooms are listed between 13 and 15 m². The occupancy figure is a ceiling, so a room rated for six also works for five.

Is there coworking or a virtual office available in Ghana?

Not currently. Wezoo lists no coworking, day office or virtual office availability in Ghana. Private offices in Accra are the only workspace product listed for the country right now.
