A virtual office gives a business in Zambia an address it can publish, receive post at and register correspondence against, without renting a desk or signing a lease. On Wezoo there is currently one Zambian address offering it: SunShare Tower in Lusaka, operated by Regus, with four published plans starting at ZMW 1,394.28 a month and a shortest published term of one month.
This page sets out what each of those plans actually includes, what they cost, who they suit, and what you still have to check for yourself before you put the address on a registration form. Where something is not published, this page says so rather than filling the gap.
What you get with virtual office in Zambia — and what you do not
A virtual office is an address, not a room. You are buying the right to use a real commercial street address for your business, together with whatever handling of post and calls the plan attached to it covers. Nothing about it gives you a desk, and nothing about it is a tenancy.
At the Zambian address, the published plans cover six things between them, and no single plan covers all of the cheapest ones at once. Across the four plans at SunShare Tower you will find a business address, a company registration option, mail handling, package handling, call answering, and on the top plan, access to the coworking floor. Which of those you get depends entirely on which plan you take, and the next section lists them one by one.
One honest caveat applies to every market, Zambia included. The listing tells you that mail handling is part of a plan; it does not tell you how often post is forwarded, whether envelopes are opened and scanned, where they are forwarded to, or what a forwarding run costs on top. The same goes for call answering: the plan says the service exists, not how many calls are covered or in whose name they are answered. Those details are set by the building and are agreed when you send the request. Ask about them in your first message rather than after you have committed.
What you do not get is equally worth stating. Each of the four plans is published for a single occupant, so a virtual office is not a way to put a team of six on one address. It gives you no space of your own in the building, and apart from the top plan, no working access at all. If what you actually need is a room with your own door, that is a different product in the same tower, and it is covered on our guide to office space for rent in Zambia.
Where virtual office is available in Zambia — the cities and how many addresses in each
One city, one address.
- Lusaka: 1 address. SunShare Tower, on the ninth floor at Stand No. LN-15584/1.
That is the whole national picture on Wezoo today, and it is worth being plain about what it means. There is no Wezoo virtual office address in Ndola, in Kitwe, in Livingstone or anywhere else on the Copperbelt. If your reason for wanting a Zambian address is specifically a Copperbelt presence, this page cannot give you one, and no amount of comparing plans will change that.
For most buyers that is less of a problem than it sounds. A Lusaka address is the one most businesses want anyway: it is the capital, it is where correspondence from national institutions is expected to land, and it is the address a counterparty is least likely to query. But if you specifically need a second city, it is better to know now.
Because Zambia has one address rather than a dozen, there are no city guides sitting underneath this page yet. The building section further down covers everything there is to cover.
What virtual office costs in Zambia — and is there a free option?
Four plans are published at the Lusaka address, all of them monthly, all of them in Zambian kwacha, and all of them for a single occupant with a shortest published term of one month.
| Plan | What it covers | From, per month |
|---|---|---|
| Address plan | Business address, company registration option, mail handling, package handling | ZMW 1,394.28 |
| Call answering plan | Call answering only, with no address included | ZMW 1,515.53 |
| Address and calls | Business address, company registration option, mail handling, package handling, call answering | ZMW 2,525.88 |
| Address, calls and workspace | Everything above, plus access to the coworking floor | ZMW 3,132.09 |
Three things about those figures. First, each one is a floor: it is the lowest published rate for that plan, and the quote you receive can sit above it. Second, the published figure does not come with a stated contract length attached to it, so treat it as the entry rate and ask what it assumes. Third, the shortest published term is one month, which is unusually short for a business address and is one of the real advantages of the product.
Notice the second row. The call answering plan is priced above the address plan and does not include an address at all. If you want both, the third plan is the one that carries both; stacking is not how these are sold. It is an easy and expensive thing to get wrong when you are reading quickly.
Is there a free virtual office in Zambia? Not on Wezoo, and you should be sceptical of one anywhere. A business address is a real commercial address in a staffed building, with someone receiving and holding post for you. Offers framed as free generally mean a free trial period, a mailbox rather than a street address, or an address that is free until the moment you want post forwarded. The lowest real published figure in Zambia today is ZMW 1,394.28 a month.
Is virtual office legal in Zambia, and which addresses the registrar accepts
This is the question the product raises most often, and it deserves a straight answer about what we can and cannot tell you.
What we can tell you is what is published. The operator of the Lusaka address publishes a company registration option on three of its four plans. That means the building offers the use of the address for that purpose and sets the conditions under which it does so: what documentation it wants, what it will and will not accept post for, and what it does if an official letter arrives. Those conditions come from the building, and your request goes through them. Ask for them in writing before you pay.
What we cannot tell you is whether that address satisfies any particular Zambian legal or regulatory requirement that applies to you. We have not verified Zambian company law or the current position of the relevant authority for this page, so this page does not name an authority, cite a provision, or tell you that the address is or is not valid for a registration you have in mind. Guidance written for a neighbouring country is not evidence about Zambia, and we have not borrowed any.
One distinction is worth carrying with you, because it causes more trouble than anything else here. A postal address, a trading address and a registered address are three different things, and a provider can supply the first two without the third being settled. A business can legitimately receive its post at one address while being required to register somewhere specific. Treat them as separate questions and ask about each one explicitly.
So the practical route is short. Get the building’s written conditions for the registration option. Then confirm with the competent Zambian authority, or with a Zambian accountant or lawyer, that an address of this kind is acceptable for your particular registration before you file anything. That check costs very little and it is the only one that actually settles the question.
Note: this section is general orientation, not legal advice, and it does not state the position of any Zambian authority. Position as at 3 November 2026. Confirm your own case with the competent authority or a qualified adviser before you register an address.
Who uses virtual office — and who should not
The product fits a narrow set of situations very well.
- A company entering Zambia before it commits to space. You need a Lusaka address and somewhere for post to land while you work out whether the market justifies a floor. A one month term means that decision is not forced early.
- A consultant or small firm working from home. You want a commercial address on invoices and proposals rather than a residential one, and you want post handled while you travel.
- A business with people in Zambia but no office. Remote staff, field teams or a sales presence that needs a fixed point for correspondence and the occasional parcel.
- Anyone who needs a phone presence more than an address. The call answering plan exists on its own for exactly this.
It fits other situations badly, and these are worth saying out loud.
- A team that needs somewhere to work. Three of the four plans give no building access whatsoever. If people need to sit down, this is the wrong product, and the private office and coworking options in the same tower are the right ones.
- A business that needs to list several directors or staff at the address. Each plan is published for one occupant.
- Anyone who needs a presence outside Lusaka. There is one address in the country.
- Anyone who needs certainty on a registration question today. As set out above, that answer has to come from the authority or an adviser, not from a listing.
The address: virtual office in Lusaka
1. SunShare Tower, Lusaka

SunShare Tower stands at Stand No. LN-15584/1 in Lusaka, with the serviced floor on the ninth. It is operated by Regus, and it is the single Zambian address on Wezoo that publishes virtual office plans: four of them, each for one occupant, each with a shortest published term of one month, priced from ZMW 1,394.28 to ZMW 3,132.09 a month.
Between those plans the building publishes a business address, a company registration option, mail handling, package handling, call answering, and coworking access on the top plan. The building itself also lists breakout spaces and catering, which matter if you take the plan that includes working access and intend to use it. Everything published for this address, including the current rate for each plan, sits on its own page.

How to request virtual office on Wezoo
A virtual office is not bought at a checkout. It is a request, and the building answers with the plan, the conditions and a rate for your situation.
- Decide which of the four plans you need. Address only, calls only, both, or both plus working access. The second plan carries no address, so read that row twice.
- Open the address page. Everything published for Lusaka sits on the SunShare Tower virtual office page.
- Say what you need the address for. Post only, a trading address, or a registration. This is the single most useful sentence in your message, because it decides which conditions the building has to send you.
- Ask the handling questions up front. How often post is forwarded and to where, whether envelopes are scanned, what forwarding costs, and for the call plans, how calls are answered and what volume is covered.
- Ask for the registration conditions in writing if that is why you are here, then check them with the competent authority or your adviser before you file anything.

If Zambia is not the only market you are looking at
If you also need a room rather than only an address, the same Lusaka tower publishes serviced private offices, and those are covered in full on our guide to office space for rent in Zambia. It is the companion page to this one and it goes through sizes, occupancies and monthly rates for the same building.
If your search spans the wider region, these neighbouring markets publish more virtual office addresses than Zambia does, and all three are English speaking:
- Virtual offices in Namibia, the closest market to Lusaka at around 1,425 km.
- Virtual offices in South Africa, around 1,437 km away and by far the deepest in the region, if a southern African base is the real requirement rather than Zambia specifically.
- Virtual offices in Tanzania, around 1,532 km, for a business looking at the East African corridor.
Frequently asked questions
What is meant by a virtual office?
It is the use of a real commercial address for your business, with an agreed level of post and call handling, and without renting space. In Zambia that means the Lusaka address at SunShare Tower, on one of four published plans.
What are the disadvantages of a virtual office?
Three, mainly. Each plan is published for a single occupant, so it does not scale to a team. Three of the four plans give no access to the building, so there is nowhere to sit. And it settles no legal question on its own: whether the address is acceptable for a particular registration is something you confirm with the competent authority, not with the listing.
Is there a free virtual office address in Zambia?
Not on Wezoo. The lowest published rate in the country is ZMW 1,394.28 a month, on the plan that covers the business address, the company registration option, mail handling and package handling.
Can I use the address to register a company in Zambia?
The operator publishes a company registration option on three of the four plans, and it sets the conditions for it. Whether that satisfies the requirement that applies to you is a question for the competent Zambian authority or a qualified adviser, and this page does not answer it.
Which Zambian cities have a virtual office address on Wezoo?
Lusaka only, with one address. There is nothing published in Ndola, Kitwe or Livingstone.
How long do I have to commit for?
The shortest published term at the Lusaka address is one month, on all four plans.
