Virtual office in Uganda, business addresses in Kampala

A virtual office in Uganda is a real street address your business can use, without renting a desk behind it. Wezoo lists three virtual office addresses in Uganda, all of them in Kampala, and this page sets out where they are, what each building reports about itself, what the providers do and do not hand over with the address, and what to check before you put any address on a form.

For an overview of every option, see all business addresses in Uganda.

This is a thin, specific market, and it is worth saying so at the top. Ugandan searches for this product run to roughly ten a month nationally, and the whole of the country’s workspace demand adds up to little more than a hundred searches a month, almost all of it in Kampala. You are not browsing a catalogue here. You are choosing between three named buildings, and the useful thing this page can do is tell you honestly what separates them.

What you get with a virtual office in Uganda — and what you do not

Strip away the marketing and the product is one thing: an address at a staffed business centre, which you are permitted to use as your business address. The building is real, the reception is real, and someone is there during office hours. What you are buying is the right to put that address on your website, your invoices, your listings and your correspondence.

What you are not buying is space. A virtual office gives you no desk, no office and no guaranteed room. All three Ugandan buildings also run offices and meeting space, and you can take those separately, but they are separate products with separate costs. If you want somewhere to sit, a virtual office is not it.

One thing deserves a plain answer rather than a brochure sentence. Post handling, mail scanning and phone answering are the three services buyers ask about most, and the Wezoo inventory does not publish them for any building in any market. The twelve service categories the listings carry describe the building, not the mail room. So this page will not tell you which of the three Kampala addresses forwards your post or answers your phone, because that is not something we can see. It varies by provider, it is agreed when you send your request, and it is the first question worth asking the operator.

What the listings do publish is what the building itself offers, and that is set out per address further down: parking, catering, a coffee and tea bar, a lounge, breakout areas, a restaurant and step free access, building by building.

If you arrived here from a search for office space to rent in Kampala, it is worth being clear about the difference, because the two products are often sold side by side. A commercial lease through an agent gives you a floor or a suite of your own, on a contract of several years, with the fit out, the service charge and the exit terms to negotiate. A virtual office gives you the address and the reception behind it, on a short arrangement you can leave, and nothing to fit out. Both are legitimate things to want. They are simply not the same purchase, and if what you actually need is a floor of your own, an agent will serve you better than this page will.

Where virtual offices are available in Uganda — the cities and how many addresses in each

All three are in Kampala. There is no second city in this inventory, and that is the single most important fact on this page if you were hoping for an address in Jinja, Entebbe, Gulu or Mbarara. There is not one, and we would rather say so than let you work through the list to find out.

Within Kampala the three sit close together in the central and northern part of the city, within roughly a kilometre and a half of each other. That is close enough that the choice between them is not really a question of location in the sense of reaching different parts of the city. It is a question of which building you would rather have on your letterhead and which one you would rather walk into.

A note on the count, because it differs from what you may see elsewhere. The raw inventory returns four Ugandan listings, but two of them are the same building: Course View Towers appears twice under the same operator at the same coordinate, once under a proper address slug and once under an internal operator code. We count it once. There are three buildings in Uganda, not four, and nothing on this page double counts it.

The Ugandan virtual office addresses on Wezoo

All three are set out below with their building, their floor where the listing gives one, what the building reports about itself, and a link to its own page. All three are operated by Regus.

1. Course View Towers — Kampala

The listing puts the space on the seventh floor of Course View Towers, a glass fronted tower that is easy to describe over the phone and easy for a visitor to find. On its own reported services it is the leanest of the three: breakout areas, catering, a coffee and tea bar and a lounge. No parking is reported at this address, and no step free access, which matters if you expect visitors to arrive by car or if accessibility is part of what you need from the building. As an address on paper it does the job as well as either of the others.

2. AHA Towers — Kampala

The most fully equipped of the three on its own reported services: parking, a restaurant, a coffee and tea bar, a lounge, catering, breakout areas and step free access. That combination makes AHA Towers the one to pick if you expect to actually use the building now and then rather than only its address, or if a visitor of yours needs to park and get in without stairs. It is the only one of the three where both of those are reported.

3. Acacia Mall — Kampala

On the fourth floor above the Acacia Mall, and the only one of the three whose address carries a name most people in Kampala already know. It reports the same broad set as AHA Towers: parking, breakout areas, catering, a coffee and tea bar, a lounge, a restaurant and step free access. The retail address is the differentiator, for better or worse. It is instantly recognisable and easy to direct someone to, and if you would rather your business address did not read as a shopping centre, that is a fair reason to take one of the other two.

What a virtual office costs in Uganda — and is there a free option?

No Ugandan virtual office listing on Wezoo publishes a price. That is not missing data and it is not an oversight on this page: it is the normal shape of this product. A virtual office is priced on what you need from it, and post, call handling and the length of the arrangement all move the figure, so operators quote rather than publish. All three listings are denominated in UGX.

What that means in practice is that the way to get a number is to send a request to the building you want and ask for one. There is no instant checkout and no published rate card to compare, and any page that gives you a confident Ugandan figure is guessing. When you ask, ask for the whole arrangement in one go: the address itself, what happens to post that arrives for you, whether anyone answers a phone in your name, what the notice period is, and what it costs to use a meeting room in the building when you need one.

On the free question, which gets asked in every market: not here. All three Ugandan addresses are paid arrangements with staffed business centres. Free business addresses do exist in general, usually as a shared address you have no relationship with or an unattended one with nobody behind it, and neither does the job you are buying an address to do. If the point is that correspondence reaches you and that the address stands up to being looked at, free is the wrong end of the market.

Is a virtual office legal in Uganda, and which addresses the registrar accepts

This is the question the market asks most about this product, and it deserves a straight answer about what we can and cannot tell you. We have not verified Ugandan company law or the current practice of the Ugandan authorities for this page, so you will not find a rule, a registering body or a section number quoted here. Writing one down that we had not read ourselves would be worse than leaving it out.

What can be said without any of that is still useful, and it is mostly about keeping two different things apart. A business address is where your correspondence goes and what you show the public. A registered or company address is a formal entry in a register, and the rules about what qualifies for it are set by the authority that keeps that register, not by the building and not by us. The two are often the same address in practice, but they are not the same thing, and the permission to use one does not automatically carry the other.

That matters because the permission you need is specific. The operator of the building is the party that grants you the right to use its address and sets the terms on which you may do so, including whether that extends to company registration. Those terms come from the operator when you send your request, and they are the only authoritative statement about that building.

So the sequence worth following is simple. Ask the operator in writing what the address may be used for and get the answer before you commit. Then, before you enter that address anywhere in a register or on an official form, check with the competent authority in your own jurisdiction that an address of this kind satisfies the requirement you are trying to meet. Do that check yourself rather than relying on a provider’s summary or on this page, because the consequences of an address being rejected land on you.

General orientation only, not legal advice. Wezoo lists workspace and does not verify company law or registration requirements in Uganda. Position as at 22 October 2026. Confirm the terms with the operator of the building and the requirements with the competent authority before you register or publish any address.

Who uses a virtual office — and who should not

The people this product genuinely suits in Uganda are reasonably easy to describe. Someone running a business from home who does not want a home address on public record. A consultant or small firm whose work happens at the client’s premises. A company based outside Uganda that wants a Kampala address and a real reception behind it without opening an office. A founder who needs a credible address to put in front of a bank, a partner or a customer before there is a team to house.

And the honest negative, which is the part most pages leave out. If you need somewhere to work, this is the wrong product and a desk or an office is the right one. If you expect post to be scanned and forwarded reliably, do not assume it: confirm it with the operator first, because it is not published and it is not uniform. If you need an address outside Kampala, this inventory cannot help you at all. And if a rule you are subject to requires premises you genuinely occupy, an address you do not sit in will not satisfy it, however the arrangement is worded.

How to request a virtual office on Wezoo

There is no checkout. You open the page of the building you want, send a request to its operator, and the operator comes back with terms and a price for your situation. Because all three Ugandan addresses are run by the same operator, the process is the same whichever you pick, and nothing stops you asking about more than one.

Have four things ready when you ask, and you will get a usable answer first time instead of a quote and three follow ups: the name you want the address registered to, what you intend to use the address for, what should happen to post that arrives for you, and how long you expect to need it.

If Uganda turns out to be the wrong market for what you need, the nearest comparable inventory is next door. Kenya has a considerably deeper set of business addresses, and Nairobi is the regional centre most Ugandan businesses already deal with, so if a Nairobi address would work as well as a Kampala one, see virtual offices in Kenya. Further afield, and as a market rather than a neighbour, virtual offices in Nigeria covers the other large English speaking inventory on the continent. Both pages are in English.
