Virtual Office Mayfair: 8 Premium W1 Addresses — The Complete 2026 Guide

A virtual office Mayfair address is the cheapest prestigious thing you can buy in London. Wezoo lists eight of them — eight real buildings inside the W1J, W1K and W1S postcode districts, from Berkeley Square to North Row — and this guide shows you exactly which streets they sit on, what the surrounding services cost, and whether Companies House will accept the address as your registered office. If you want the wider category first, start with our complete guide to virtual offices.

Here is the thing nobody selling you a virtual office Mayfair package tends to mention. In Mayfair you are not renting a room. You are renting a postcode. The postcode is cheap. The hour in the room behind it is not — and that gap is where most people get surprised.

What Does a Virtual Office Mayfair Address Actually Include?

Three things, in descending order of how often they are bundled: a business address you can put on your website, invoices and letterhead; mail handling, either held for collection or forwarded; and a company registration address that satisfies Companies House. Everything else is an add-on.

Call answering is almost always priced separately — expect a second monthly line on the invoice, not a freebie. Meeting-room access is the same: the address does not come with hours in a room. It comes with the right to book a room in that building, usually at the same rate any member of the public would pay. Nine times out of ten, the sales page shows you the address price and stays quiet about the room price.

What you never get is a desk. If you need somewhere to sit in W1 on a Tuesday, that is a day office or a hot desk, and it is a different product with a different price. The address is a mailbox with a good haircut.

What Does a Virtual Office Mayfair Address Cost?

The public market is unusually wide. Published provider rates on the Mayfair virtual-office search results — checked on 12 July 2026 — run from roughly £16 a month at the entry end (typically annual billing, plus VAT, mail scanning only) up to £150 a month and above at the prestige end, where a full package includes a registered-office service, daily forwarding and reception cover. A registered-office add-on on its own is commonly listed around £40 a month.

Wezoo does not publish a monthly price for virtual offices — it is an enquiry product, and the operator quotes you directly. What Wezoo does publish, and almost nobody else does, is the cost of everything else in the building. That turns out to matter more than the £16-versus-£150 question.

What Does It Cost to Turn Up at Your Mayfair Address?

Seven of the eight buildings sell a meeting room on site. The cheapest hour in Mayfair is £50.75, at Hanover Square. The most expensive is £157.20, on Park Street. The median across the seven is £91.20 an hour, tax and fees included.

Read that against the address price and the picture flips. A £16-a-month address plus one three-hour client meeting a month at the median rate costs you £290 a month, and £274 of it is the room. Prestige is priced by the hour, not by the month. If you plan to actually meet people at your Mayfair address — and the whole point of a Mayfair address is that people want to come to it — the room rate is your real number.

Mayfair Hanover Square 17 Hanover Square (W1S 1BN) £50.75/hour

One building, Green Park House on Stratton Street, lists no bookable room at all. If that is your address, your meetings happen somewhere else.

Can a Virtual Office Mayfair Address Be Your Registered Office?

Yes — provided the address meets the Companies House test. Since the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act came into force, a registered office must be an “appropriate address”: a real, physical location in the UK where a document delivered to it would be expected to come to the attention of a person acting for the company, and where delivery can be acknowledged. A staffed W1 reception clears that bar comfortably. A PO box does not.

Two practical consequences. First, your registered office address goes on the public register, which is exactly why so many founders use a virtual office address instead of their kitchen table — see our guide to the registered office address in London for the mechanics. Second, the operator has to agree in writing to accept service of documents on your behalf. Ask for that in the quote, not after you have signed. If you are still working out the difference between a trading address, a service address and a registered office, our explainer on what a virtual office address is untangles it.

You can check any company’s current registered office, and file a change of address, through Companies House. The formation rules themselves are set out in the government’s guide to registering a limited company.

Is Mayfair Worth It Compared With Cheaper Central London Postcodes?

Depends entirely on who reads your letterhead. Mayfair earns its premium in three industries — investment and family offices, luxury and art, and advisory work sold on relationships. In those rooms, W1J tells a story that EC2 or SE1 cannot.

Everywhere else, the premium is decoration. Wezoo lists 256 virtual office addresses across London; Mayfair is eight of them. The other 248 include City postcodes with better transport, Shoreditch addresses that read as credible to a technology buyer, and South Bank buildings at a fraction of the on-site room rate. If your clients will never write to you, never visit, and never Google the street, the postcode is buying you nothing you can bank.

The honest test is one question: would a client change their mind about you because of this address? If the answer is no, spend the difference on the meeting room instead.

Virtual Office Mayfair: The Bottom Line

A virtual office Mayfair address is a genuine asset in a narrow set of industries and a nice-to-have everywhere else. Eight buildings, four operators, seven with a room you can book downstairs. Pick the address for the street your clients respect, then check the hourly rate in the same building before you sign — because that is the number you will actually pay, month after month.

Virtual Office Mayfair: Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a virtual office Mayfair address cost?

Published provider rates for a Mayfair virtual office ran from about £16 a month at the entry end to £150 a month and above at the prestige end when checked on 12 July 2026. Wezoo does not publish a monthly virtual office price — the operator quotes you after an enquiry. Budget separately for meeting rooms, which cost £50.75 to £157.20 an hour in these buildings.

Can I use a virtual office Mayfair address as my registered office?

Yes, as long as it is an “appropriate address” under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act — a real UK location where documents reach a person acting for the company and delivery can be acknowledged. All eight W1 buildings on Wezoo have staffed receptions. Confirm in writing that the operator will accept service of documents on your behalf.

Which postcodes count as a virtual office Mayfair address?

Mayfair’s core postcode districts are W1J, W1K and W1S. Wezoo’s eight Mayfair virtual office addresses all sit inside those three. Neighbouring W1B (Regent Street), W1F and W1D (Soho) and W1T and W1W (Fitzrovia) are central London but they are not Mayfair, and a well-informed reader will know the difference.

Does a virtual office Mayfair package include meeting rooms?

Access, not hours. Seven of the eight Wezoo buildings sell meeting rooms on site, from £50.75 an hour at Hanover Square to £157.20 an hour on Park Street, with a median of £91.20. You book and pay per booking. Green Park House on Stratton Street lists no on-site room at all.

How quickly can a virtual office Mayfair address be set up?

Most operators can activate a business address within a few working days once identity and anti-money-laundering checks clear — that verification, not the paperwork, is the bottleneck. Registered-office changes then take effect once you file them with Companies House.
