Virtual Office Leicestershire: 5 Best Business Addresses and What Yours Really Says (2026)

virtual office leicestershire — Wezoo

A virtual office Leicestershire plan buys you one thing: a real street address you are allowed to print on your website, your invoices and the public register at Companies House. Wezoo lists five of them across the county. This guide compares all five — what each address actually prints on your letterhead, which ones work as a registered office, and what the buildings behind them charge when you need to turn up in person. New to the product? Start with our complete guide to virtual offices.

Here is the part nobody mentions before you pay. Leicestershire has five business addresses on Wezoo. Not one of them prints the word “Leicestershire”. Four print “Leicester” and the fifth prints “Derby” — even though that fifth building sits inside Leicestershire, and Wezoo lists it under Nottingham. Three place names for one county, and not one of them is the word you searched for. That is not a data error. It is how British addressing works, and once you see it the choice gets much easier.

Wezoo snapshot — Leicestershire virtual offices

  • 5 virtual office addresses listed on Wezoo across the ceremonial county
  • 3 postcode districts between them: LE1, LE19 and DE74
  • Address plans are quoted on request — no operator publishes a monthly rate here
  • The same buildings do publish day rates: day offices from £65/day at all five, hot desks from £25/day at four of them (ex VAT)
  • Operators: Regus (4 of 5), Spaces (1 of 5)

Those five addresses are spread across a 27 km line, from Leicester city centre to the runway at East Midlands Airport.

What does a virtual office Leicestershire address actually include?

Every plan on this list covers the same core: a named business address you may use commercially, mail handling at that address, and the option to register it with Companies House. Meeting rooms, desks and day offices are sold separately by the same building.

What it is not is a mailbox. Since 4 March 2024 a registered office must be an appropriate address under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023 — somewhere a document is likely to come to the attention of a person acting for the company, and where delivery can be recorded by an acknowledgement of delivery. PO boxes stopped qualifying on that date. A staffed third-party address like these five still does.

The definition worth memorising. A registered office is not an address. It is an address, plus a person, plus a window of time in which that person is there to sign for what arrives.

The 5 virtual office Leicestershire addresses, and what each letterhead says

Two boundaries run through this county and they do not agree. Leicester is a unitary authority: it runs its own city council and sits outside Leicestershire County Council’s area, while remaining part of the ceremonial county. Royal Mail, meanwhile, uses “Leicester” as the postal town for a much wider ring than the city — including Enderby and Braunstone, which are governed by Blaby District Council.

So the council draws one line and Royal Mail draws another. Only one of them ends up on your letterhead.

virtual office leicestershire addresses grouped by postcode district
The county’s five virtual office addresses collapse into three postal identities.
Address Postcode Prints District County council area From Leicester station
11–15 Guildhall Lane LE1 5FQ Leicester Leicester Unitary — outside the county council 0.55 km
St George’s House LE1 1QZ Leicester Leicester Unitary — outside the county council 0.22 km
Grove Business Park LE19 1SY Leicester Blaby Leicestershire 5.69 km
Meridian Business Park LE19 1WY Leicester Blaby Leicestershire 5.36 km
East Midlands Airport DE74 2TZ Derby North West Leicestershire Leicestershire 24.65 km

Read the last two columns together. Two of these addresses are in Leicester. Three are in Leicestershire. Four of them print the same word.

District boundaries above are the official ones for each postcode; the airport site falls under North West Leicestershire District Council. The practical upshot: your real choice is between three postal identities, not five buildings. Pick Grove or Meridian and your letterhead is identical either way — they are 760 metres apart in the same postcode district.

The five virtual office Leicestershire addresses in detail

St George’s House

virtual office leicestershire - St George’s House, 3rd Floor, Leicester LE1 1QZ
St George’s House by Regus, 3rd Floor, Leicester LE1 1QZ

The closest address on this list to Leicester railway station — 220 metres, which is a three-minute walk with a suitcase. It is a city-centre professional address in the LE1 district, inside the city council’s area rather than the county’s. Day offices start at £69 and it is the one building here with no hot-desk product, so it suits companies who want the address plus an occasional private room rather than a drop-in seat.

11–15 Guildhall Lane

virtual office leicestershire - 11–15 Guildhall Lane, Leicester LE1 5FQ
11–15 Guildhall Lane by Spaces, Leicester LE1 5FQ

The only address on the list not operated by Regus, and the only one on a named street with genuine civic weight — Guildhall Lane runs beside the medieval Guildhall and the cathedral, in the Castle ward. Companies House prints the whole address, so “Guildhall Lane, Leicester” reads as old city centre rather than ring road. Bike storage and phone booths on site; hot desks £35/day.

Grove Business Park

virtual office leicestershire - Grove Business Park, 1st Floor Gateway House, Enderby, Leicester LE19 1SY
Grove Business Park by Regus, 1st Floor Gateway House, Enderby, Leicester LE19 1SY

Enderby, just off junction 21 of the M1 in Blaby district — genuinely inside Leicestershire County Council’s area while still printing a Leicester postal town. Parking on site — not listed at the Guildhall Lane address. The cheapest hourly meeting room of the two business-park addresses, and day offices at £85.

Meridian Business Park

virtual office leicestershire - Meridian Business Park, 1 Meridian South, Braunstone, Leicester LE19 1WY
Meridian Business Park by Regus, 1 Meridian South, Braunstone, Leicester LE19 1WY

The other half of the LE19 pair, 760 metres from Grove and identical on paper. Meridian sits at the top of the county’s day-rate range — £39 for a desk-day and £99 for a day office — and it offers 28 private-office configurations for teams of up to 33. If you want the M1 junction, on-site parking and a clear path from address to desk to suite, this is the LE19 address to ask about.

East Midlands Airport

virtual office leicestershire - East Midlands Airport, Regus House, Castle Donington DE74 2TZ
East Midlands Airport by Regus, Regus House, Castle Donington DE74 2TZ

The outlier, and the interesting one. It sits in Long Whatton and Diseworth parish, North West Leicestershire — unambiguously in the county — but its postcode falls in DE74, whose Royal Mail post town is Derby. Wezoo lists the same building under Nottingham, a legacy of the airport’s former name. It also carries the county’s lowest published day rates: £25 desk-days and £65 day offices. Roughly ten kilometres from Loughborough and next to the runway, so it suits anyone whose clients fly in.

Can you use a virtual office Leicestershire address as your registered office?

Yes, for all five, provided the operator agrees in writing and the address is staffed. Section 86 of the Companies Act 2006 requires a company to have a registered office at all times, and the address goes on the public record.

Three practical points. Your registered office address is published in full and free to search on the Companies House register, so treat it as marketing copy, not admin. It does not have to be where you trade, but it does have to be somewhere post reaches a real person. And if you are also registering for VAT, HMRC asks for a principal place of business, which is a different question from where your post lands — check the VAT registration guidance before you assume one address answers both.

Companies House has published a plain-English summary of the 2024 changes at changestoukcompanylaw.campaign.gov.uk, which is the fastest way to check whether your current setup still complies.

What does a virtual office in Leicestershire cost per month?

No virtual office Leicestershire address on Wezoo carries a published monthly rate — address plans are quoted per company, because what you pay depends on whether you want mail forwarded, scanned, held for collection, or a phone number attached. Anyone quoting you a precise Leicestershire figure without asking those questions is guessing.

What the same buildings do publish is the ladder above the address, and that is the number worth checking before you commit, because it tells you what a visit costs once the letterhead has done its job:

  • Hot desk, per day: £25 (airport) · £35 (Guildhall Lane, Grove) · £39 (Meridian). Median £35.
  • Day office, per day: £65 (airport) · £69 (St George’s) · £85 (Grove) · £89 (Guildhall Lane) · £99 (Meridian). Median £85.
  • Private office suites: available in all five, from single desks up to 97 people at St George’s House.

Those are ex-VAT figures, and they land on round pounds for a reason — there is a rate card behind them. One thing worth knowing about this county: all five addresses have a bookable meeting room and a day office in the same building. That is not true of every market. In Leicestershire the address always comes with somewhere to sit.

Which Leicestershire towns are actually covered?

Every virtual office Leicestershire address on Wezoo sits in one of two places: Leicester, or the airport. The rest of the county has none yet — better to know that now than after you have paid.

  • Leicester: four addresses, two in LE1 within 600 m of the station and two in LE19 about 5.4 and 5.7 km out.
  • Loughborough: no Wezoo address in the town. The nearest is East Midlands Airport, roughly 10 km away.
  • Hinckley: no Wezoo address in the town. The nearest is Grove Business Park, 14.2 km away.
  • Melton Mowbray, Coalville, Market Harborough: no listings at present.

If your customers are in Loughborough or Hinckley, an LE19 address still reads as local — both towns are inside the Leicester travel-to-work area — and the airport address is the closest thing to a north-county option. For a purely city-focused comparison, our guide to the virtual office Leicester covers the city’s four addresses in more depth, and if you only need somewhere to work for a day, see the day office in Leicester.

How to choose between the three virtual office Leicestershire postcodes

Strip out the duplicate letterheads and a virtual office Leicestershire decision is a three-way choice, not a five-way one.

  • Choose LE1 if your clients are local and the address is doing reputational work. City-centre postcode, walking distance from the station, and Guildhall Lane in particular reads as historic city rather than industrial estate.
  • Choose LE19 if you want to be genuinely inside Leicestershire County Council’s area, or expect visitors arriving by car from the M1. It still prints “Leicester”, which is the best of both.
  • Choose DE74 if price is the driver or your business is logistics, freight or travel. Accept that the address will say Derby and that some Leicestershire customers will read it as out-of-county.

All three are staffed business centres, so all three qualify as a registered office.

The pattern is not unique to this county. We found the same split between administrative and postal boundaries when mapping the virtual office in Essex, and a sharper version of it in the virtual office in East Sussex, where the county’s best-known city is administered separately in exactly the same way.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use a virtual office Leicestershire address as my Companies House registered office?

Yes. All five addresses are staffed business centres, which meets the “appropriate address” test introduced on 4 March 2024. You need the operator’s written consent first, and you must update the register when you move. PO boxes no longer qualify.

What does a virtual office in Leicestershire cost per month?

No virtual office Leicestershire operator publishes a monthly rate — address plans are quoted per company depending on whether you need mail forwarding, scanning, collection or a phone line. The same buildings do publish day rates: hot desks from £25 and day offices from £65, both ex VAT.

Which Leicestershire towns have a virtual office Leicestershire address on Wezoo?

Leicester only, with four addresses across the LE1 and LE19 districts, plus one at East Midlands Airport in North West Leicestershire. Loughborough, Hinckley, Melton Mowbray, Coalville and Market Harborough have none; the nearest options are roughly 10 km and 14.2 km away respectively for the first two.

Why does the East Midlands Airport address not say Leicestershire?

Because postal geography and council geography are separate systems. The site is in Long Whatton and Diseworth parish, North West Leicestershire, but its postcode sits in DE74, whose Royal Mail post town is Derby. Wezoo lists the same building under Nottingham, a legacy of the airport’s former name. Three place names for one Leicestershire building, and not one of them is Leicestershire.

Is a Leicester address the same as a Leicestershire address?

Not administratively. Leicester is a unitary authority outside Leicestershire County Council’s area, though it remains within the ceremonial county. On a letterhead the distinction is invisible — the LE1 and LE19 addresses all print “Leicester” regardless of which council governs them.

What is included with a virtual office Leicestershire plan?

A commercial business address, mail handling at that address, and eligibility to use it as your registered office. Meeting rooms, day offices and private suites are sold separately, and all five Leicestershire addresses have all three in the same building. Hot desks are available at four of the five — St George’s House is the exception.
