A coworking space Paddington booking is the one desk in London you book because of where you have just landed, or where you are about to fly. Wezoo lists two coworking space Paddington locations in W2, and they charge £78.00 and £118.80 a day — against a London median of £54.00. This is the guide to what that money buys, and to the strangest number in west London: the desk at Heathrow itself costs £30.00.

Paddington sits inside a wider market. Our complete guide to coworking covers how day passes work everywhere else in the country.
Coworking Space Paddington: What Two Desks in W2 Cost
Both Wezoo listings sit in Paddington Central, the canal-side estate on the north side of the tracks, roughly a six-hundred-metre walk from the station concourse along Paddington Basin. Same operator. Same postcode. Twelve metres apart. Two very different day rates.
| Location | Hot desk / day | Day office / day | Meeting room / hour | Doors open |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Paddington Sheldon Square | £78.00 | from £202.80 | from £49.08 | Mon–Fri, 08:30–18:00 |
| Paddington Kingdom Street | £118.80 | from £310.80 | from £79.60 | Mon–Fri, 08:30–17:30 |
The gap is +52% on the desk. Coworking space Paddington has no bargain door.
Put those two numbers on London’s price ladder and the picture sharpens. Across all 116 hot-desk locations Wezoo lists in the capital, the median desk is £54.00 a day. Sheldon Square’s £78.00 sits at the 72nd percentile. Kingdom Street’s £118.80 is the fourth most expensive desk in London — only 100 Bishopsgate, Clubhouse St James and Mayfair’s Berkeley Square ask more. Paddington’s cheaper door is dearer than three-quarters of the city.
Why Is Coworking Space Paddington Dearer Than the Desk at Heathrow?
Because the runway is the cheap end of the line. Rank every hot desk in the western corridor by its distance from Heathrow’s terminals and read the price column — it climbs as you travel towards town, and it does not stop climbing until it hits W2.
| Location | Distance from Heathrow | Hot desk / day |
|---|---|---|
| Heathrow Bath Road (UB7) | 2.5 km | £30.00 |
| Stockley Park (UB11) | 4.5 km | £46.80 |
| Charter Building, Uxbridge (UB8) | 8.5 km | £58.80 |
| Chiswick Park (W4) | 12.6 km | £66.00 |
| Paddington Sheldon Square (W2) | 19.7 km | £78.00 |
| Paddington Kingdom Street (W2) | 19.6 km | £118.80 |
Same operator at both ends. Coworking space Paddington costs 3.96 times the desk beside the runway.
That ratio is the whole story. Airport hotels charge you for proximity to the terminal; airport desks do not. The Heathrow Bath Road desk is the cheapest of the 36 hot-desk locations in the western corridor, where the median is £46.80. Fifteen minutes later, at the other end of the Heathrow Express, the same company sells you a desk for £118.80. The train does not just cover fifteen minutes. It crosses a four-fold price gradient.
What Are You Actually Paying for in W2?
Not the runway. The onward journey. Paddington is where the airport line stops being an airport line and becomes the Elizabeth line — Bond Street, Tottenham Court Road, Farringdon, Liverpool Street, Canary Wharf, all without changing trains. A desk in Paddington is a desk you can leave at 14:00 and be in the City by 14:15.
The people who book these buildings appear to agree. Across Regus’s six published rating dimensions for both Paddington doors, the highest score is not design, not facilities, and not value. It is reachability, at 4.75 out of 5 — above the overall score of 4.35 and well above design at 3.5. Guests rate the thing they are paying for.
You are not paying for Paddington. You are paying for everywhere Paddington goes.

Coworking Space Paddington: The Two Doors, Twelve Metres Apart

This is the entry point to coworking space Paddington, and the door that stays open longest.
Paddington Sheldon Square — £78.00 per desk per day
One Kingdom Street, W2 6BD. A hot desk here is £78.00 a day, the cheaper of the two W2 rates and still 44% above the London median. The building runs Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 18:00 — a nine-and-a-half-hour window, thirty minutes longer than its neighbour, which matters more than it sounds when your flight is the last thing in the diary. Five meeting rooms sit upstairs from £49.08 an hour, seating four to twenty. Breakout space, catering and step-free access throughout.

The dearer coworking space Paddington door has one thing its neighbour does not: daylight.
Paddington Kingdom Street — £118.80 per desk per day
Sixth floor, W2 6BD — twelve metres from Sheldon Square and £40.80 a day more expensive. Six hot-desk positions, and every one of them lists natural light as an amenity; Sheldon Square’s desks list wifi and nothing else. There is a members’ lounge, eight meeting rooms from £79.60 an hour, and the same canal outside. The door window is shorter, though: 08:30 to 17:30.
Two Regus doors share one postcode and twelve metres of pavement. They do not share a price list. Curiously, the daylight runs the other way for the meeting rooms in these same two buildings — there, it is the cheaper door that has the windows. Book a room, and the cheap door wins twice. Book a desk, and you choose between the window and the wallet.

When Does a Day Office Beat a Coworking Space Paddington Desk?
From the third person. A private day office at Sheldon Square is £202.80; three hot desks in the same building are £234.00. At Kingdom Street the day office is £310.80 against £356.40 for three desks. In both buildings the ratio of day office to hot desk is 2.6 — almost exactly the London median of 2.54 across the 92 locations that sell both.
So the rule is simple, and it is the same rule at both doors. Book a hot desk for one person, or two. From three, take the room and shut the door — you get privacy for less than you were about to pay for a row of strangers. The same arithmetic holds across the city, which is why it turns up in coworking in Victoria too, and in most of the flexible workspace options we track.
When Should You Book, and Will the Door Be Open?
Both Paddington buildings are Monday to Friday only. Neither opens at the weekend, and neither opens before 08:30 — which is the one hard limit on the “book a desk when you land” plan. The long-haul bank into Heathrow arrives between 05:00 and 08:00. If your flight lands at six on a Tuesday, the desk is not yours for another two and a half hours.
Book the day before, not the morning of. And if you are working a half-day before an evening flight out, Sheldon Square’s 18:00 close buys you the extra half-hour that Kingdom Street does not. If day passes are new to you, we have written up how a coworking space works from the front desk onwards.
If Paddington becomes a habit rather than a stopover, both buildings sell fixed desks by the month: from £489 per desk at Sheldon Square and from £899 at Kingdom Street, most of them available now. At Sheldon Square that is a little over six coworking days — which is the honest tipping point. Fewer than six days a month in W2, book the desk. More, and you are paying office money for a shared table.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a coworking space Paddington desk cost per day?
Wezoo lists two locations in W2. A hot desk is £78.00 a day at Paddington Sheldon Square and £118.80 a day at Paddington Kingdom Street, both at Paddington Central. The London-wide median is £54.00 across 116 locations, so Paddington’s cheaper door already runs 44% above the city.
Why is a desk at Heathrow cheaper than a desk in Paddington?
Because the premium is charged at the city end of the line, not at the runway. The Regus location 2.5 km from Heathrow’s terminals is £30.00 a day — the cheapest of the 36 hot-desk locations in the western corridor. The same operator charges £118.80 in Paddington, 19.6 km away and fifteen minutes by Heathrow Express.
Is coworking space Paddington good for a stopover between flights?
It works well if you land on a weekday morning after 08:30 and you have onward business in central London. Paddington puts you on the Elizabeth line to Bond Street, Farringdon, Liverpool Street and Canary Wharf without a change. If you are staying airside-adjacent, the Heathrow Bath Road desk is a quarter of the price.
When is a day office better value than a hot desk in Paddington?
From three people. A day office is £202.80 at Sheldon Square against £234.00 for three hot desks, and £310.80 at Kingdom Street against £356.40. Below three, the hot desk is cheaper; from three, the private room costs less and you get a door.
Can I book a coworking space Paddington desk at the weekend?
No. Both W2 buildings run Monday to Friday only — Sheldon Square 08:30 to 18:00, Kingdom Street 08:30 to 17:30. That is the norm across London’s flexible workspace, not a Paddington quirk.
The Short Version
Paddington is not expensive because it is Paddington. It is expensive because it is the last stop before everywhere else. The desk at the airport is £30.00 and it goes nowhere; the desk in W2 is £78.00 and it goes everywhere, and the fifteen minutes of track between them is the most heavily priced quarter-hour in west London. Choose a coworking space Paddington desk when the meeting after the meeting is in town — and take the £30.00 desk when it is not.
