Meeting Room Paddington: The Essential Guide to 13 Rooms and Rates (2026)

The search meeting room Paddington returns hotel function suites, canal-side event venues and serviced-office boardrooms in one undifferentiated list, and almost none of them tell you the hourly rate before you fill in a form. Wezoo lists 13 bookable rooms in W2, at two venues in Paddington Central, from £49.08 to £134.64 an hour including tax and fees. This guide prices every one of them.

For an overview of every option, see all available meeting rooms in London.

Paddington is not a business district that happens to have a station. It is a station that grew a business district, and that changes what the room is for. Fifteen minutes on the Heathrow Express separates the runway from the concourse. Nobody flying in for a half-day meeting needs to see central London — and no other page ranking for this term leads with that. If you want the wider view first, start with our complete guide to meeting rooms, then come back for the W2 numbers.

Why Paddington is the room you book when someone is flying in

Heathrow to Paddington is 15 minutes on the Heathrow Express from Terminals 2 and 3, 21 minutes from Terminal 5. On the Elizabeth line it is roughly half an hour, with no change of train. Either way, a visitor who lands at nine can be sitting down at ten.

Now price the alternative. Put that same visitor in a room in Mayfair or the City and you have added a Tube change, a walk, and a return journey — call it 90 minutes of round trip that nobody bills for and everybody pays. A room three minutes from the Paddington concourse gives that time back to the meeting.

This is the whole case for W2, and it is a narrow one. Paddington is not where your London team sits. It is where you meet the person whose next flight is at four.

Meeting room Paddington rates: what the 13 rooms cost by the hour

Every rate below is the lowest published hourly price on Wezoo, including tax and fees. No quotes, no callbacks, no minimum spend.

VenueRoomsCapacityHourly rate (incl. tax and fees)Median
Paddington Sheldon Square (One Kingdom Street)54–20£49.08 – £100.19£61.86
Paddington Kingdom Street (6th floor)84–10£79.60 – £134.64£88.77
W2 combined134–20£49.08 – £134.64£79.60

Across all 171 buildings and 803 meeting rooms Wezoo lists in London, the median hour costs £74.40. Paddington’s £79.60 sits 7% above that. For a district three minutes from an airport express terminus, a 7% premium is a rounding error — and the district’s cheapest room, at £49.08, undercuts the London median by a third.

One postcode, two price lists

Here is the finding that no other page ranking for meeting room Paddington will give you, because none of them compares the two venues it lists side by side.

Both Wezoo venues in Paddington carry the same postcode: W2 6BD. They are 13 metres apart on the map. Same operator. Same estate. Same three-minute walk from the same platform. And the identical room costs dramatically different money depending on which of the two you click.

Room sizeSheldon SquareKingdom StreetDifference
4-person boardroom£49.08/h£79.60/h+62%
6-person boardroom£55.46/h£97.94/h+77%
8-person boardroom£61.86/h£116.29/h+88%

Two Regus listings share one postcode in Paddington. They do not share a price list. And the gap widens as the room grows — 62% at four seats, 88% at eight.

Check whether the premium buys something, because that would settle it. It does not. Both venues fit every room with the same kit: a large display, video-conferencing equipment, a whiteboard, a flip chart and wifi, on all 13 rooms without exception. The 4-person rooms at both addresses are interior boardrooms with no window. So the more expensive room is the same room.

Then the turn. Sheldon Square — the cheaper venue — is the only one of the two with daylight: its 8, 14 and 20-person rooms all list natural light, and the 14-seater is configured for what the operator calls a stunning view. All eight rooms on the Kingdom Street floor are interior. The cheaper door is also the one with the windows.

The lesson generalises well beyond W2, and we have now seen it in Soho, Victoria and Canary Wharf meeting rooms too: do not book a building, book a room. A postcode is not a price, and an operator’s name is not a rate card.

What does a meeting room in Paddington cost per seat?

Divide the hourly rate by the seats and the picture sharpens again. The headline number rises with room size; the number that actually matters falls.

SeatsSheldon Square £/seat/hourKingdom Street £/seat/hour
4£12.27£19.90
6£9.24£16.32
8£7.73£14.54
10—£13.46
14£5.79—
20£5.01—

At Sheldon Square, going from a 4-seat room to a 20-seat room doubles the bill and cuts the cost per seat by 59%. The small room is the expensive room. That holds at Kingdom Street too, but far more weakly — a 32% seat-rate drop across its range, and its range stops at 10 people.

Practical read: if you are five or six people and the 8-seater is £6 more an hour, take the 8-seater. You are buying elbow room and a window for the price of a coffee.

The two venues, room by room

Every meeting room Paddington lists on Wezoo sits inside the Paddington Central estate, on the canal side of the station. Other operators run rooms in the district too — hotels, coworking clubs, the Paddington Basin developments — but what follows is what you can book instantly, at a published rate, right now.

Paddington Sheldon Square — the range and the daylight

One Kingdom Street, W2 6BD. Roughly 390 metres from the Paddington concourse — a five-minute walk over the canal. Five rooms, and the widest capacity ladder in the district: 4, 6, 8, 14 and 20 people, from £49.08 to £100.19 an hour.

The 20-person room carries five layouts — boardroom, classroom, theatre, cabaret and U-shape — which makes it the only room in W2 that can be turned into a training day or a briefing rather than a meeting. The 14-seater is the daylight room. Both are exterior. On-site: catering, breakout space, step-free access and parking nearby.

Paddington Kingdom Street — depth at the small end

meeting room Paddington - Regus Paddington Kingdom Street, W2 6BD
Paddington Kingdom Street by Regus, W2 6BD

Sixth floor, same postcode, roughly 390 metres from the station. Eight rooms and a different shape of supply: four identical 4-person boardrooms at £79.60, two 6-person rooms at £97.94, an 8-seater at £116.29 and a 10-seater at £134.64.

What this venue owns is availability at the small end. Four interchangeable four-person rooms means a late booking on a busy Tuesday morning is far more likely to land here — and if you are meeting one person off a flight, that is the scenario. It also adds a lounge to the on-site list. It is the pricier of the two; it is also the one that will still have a room free at 09:40.

Where else can you meet on the Elizabeth line?

The Elizabeth line does not just connect Paddington to Heathrow. It connects Paddington to the rest of London’s room supply without a single change of train — which means the station your visitor arrives at is a choice, not a constraint. So we priced the whole corridor: every Wezoo meeting room within 500 metres of each central Elizabeth line stop.

Elizabeth line stopApprox. from PaddingtonWezoo venues within 500 mRoomsMedian £/hour
Paddington (W2)—213£79.60
Bond Street3 min935£99.86
Tottenham Court Road5 min39£57.00
Farringdon8 min311£75.60
Liverpool Street10 min1599£97.20
Canary Wharf17 min29£76.42

One railway line, six room markets, and a 75% spread between the cheapest median and the dearest. Ten minutes of train from Paddington to Liverpool Street costs your visitor nothing and costs you £17.60 more per hour on the median room. Five minutes to Tottenham Court Road — the doorstep of our meeting rooms in Soho — saves you £22.60 an hour instead.

Bond Street is the expensive end and Liverpool Street is the deep end: 99 rooms inside 500 metres, more than seven times Paddington’s supply. If your meeting needs a specific layout on a specific morning, that depth matters more than the rate. If it needs to happen fast, near the airport, with a train home at the end of it, Paddington wins on the only axis that counts.

How far in advance should you book — and when can you cancel?

Both W2 venues run the same door window: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 18:00, with no weekend opening and a 60-minute minimum booking. That matters more here than in most districts, because the whole point of Paddington is the early arrival. A flight landing at 06:15 puts your guest on the concourse before seven — and the room does not unlock until 08:30. Build the coffee in.

The cancellation windows are the number nobody reads, and in W2 they are not uniform. Every room seating up to 10 people gives you free cancellation up to 13 days before the start time. But Sheldon Square’s 14 and 20-person rooms move the deadline out to 23 days. The rate is what you pay; the cancellation deadline is what you risk.

So: book the big room early and be sure of it, or book the 10-seater and keep two weeks of optionality. If your guest’s flight is the variable, that is not a small distinction.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a meeting room Paddington booking cost?

From £49.08 to £134.64 per hour including tax and fees, with a median of £79.60. That covers all 13 rooms Wezoo lists in W2, seating 4 to 20 people. London’s citywide median is £74.40 an hour, so Paddington runs about 7% above the city average.

How far is Paddington from Heathrow?

The Heathrow Express takes 15 minutes from Terminals 2 and 3 and 21 minutes from Terminal 5. The Elizabeth line covers the same route in roughly half an hour with no change of train. Both terminate at Paddington station, a three to five-minute walk from both Wezoo venues.

Can I book a meeting room Paddington offers for just one hour?

Yes. Every room in W2 has a 60-minute minimum and is priced by the hour — no day rate, no membership, no minimum spend. Book the hour you need and pay for that hour.

Which meeting room Paddington venue is cheapest?

Paddington Sheldon Square, at One Kingdom Street. Its 4-person boardroom is £49.08 an hour against £79.60 for the equivalent room at Paddington Kingdom Street — a 62% difference between two venues sharing the same postcode, the same operator and the same walk from the station.

Do Paddington meeting rooms have video-conferencing equipment?

All 13 of them. Every room at both venues lists a large display, video-conferencing equipment, a whiteboard, a flip chart and wifi. There is no AV gap in W2 — unusual for a London district, where screens routinely outnumber cameras.

What is the largest meeting room Paddington has on Wezoo?

A 20-person room at Paddington Sheldon Square, £100.19 an hour, with five layouts available: boardroom, classroom, theatre, cabaret and U-shape. It is the only room in W2 that converts into a training session or a briefing rather than a meeting.

Are Paddington meeting rooms open at weekends?

No. Both venues open Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 18:00. If your visitor lands before 08:30, the room will not be ready — plan the first hour around breakfast at the station.

Paddington is one of Britain’s busiest railway stations — the Office of Rail and Road’s station usage estimates publish the annual entry-and-exit counts if you want to see how it ranks. Rates and availability shown here were correct at the time of writing and move with demand; the live figure is always the one on the booking page.
