3-6 Person Office Space Charlotte: 17 Buildings and Essential 2026 Prices

3-6 person office space Charlotte — Wezoo

Three to six people is the size that falls between the obvious answers. Too many for a corner of a coffee shop, too few to sign a floor. Wezoo lists 173 private office rooms for exactly that band across 17 Charlotte buildings, from $390 to $3,474 a month. This guide prints the whole board — every building, every team size, every price: what 3-6 person office space Charlotte costs, how big the rooms are, when you can move in, and which lever moves the bill.

Every figure comes from the live Wezoo listings on September 14, 2026, not from a market report. If you want the product explained rather than priced, start with our complete guide to private offices; for the wider city picture the Charlotte office space guide profiles seven of these buildings. Everything here is about one size band: 3-6 person office space Charlotte.

The headcount beside each price is the maximum occupancy the operator lists for that room, not a count of permanent desks. How many desks, cabinets and a meeting table still fit is something you settle on the viewing, which is why the floor area sits next to every price below.

What does 3-6 person office space Charlotte cost per month?

Between $390 and $3,474 a month, median $1,316. The floor is one three-person room of 7 m² (75 sq ft) at 615 S College St; the ceiling is two six-person rooms at 307 West Tremont Avenue, 22–24 m² (237–258 sq ft), listed at the same price. Those are the operators’ published starting prices per room per month, and a private office on Wezoo is an inquiry rather than an instant booking — you ask, the operator confirms the room and the term.

By team size, 3-6 person office space Charlotte looks like this across the whole city:

Team size Rooms listed Buildings Lowest Median Highest Floor area across the city
3 people 72 17 $390 $1,050 $1,737

7–14 m² (75–151 sq ft)

4 people 48 14 $900 $1,348 $2,316

14–17 m² (151–183 sq ft)

5 people 38 13 $1,125 $1,645 $2,895

18–21 m² (194–226 sq ft)

6 people 15 10 $870 $2,250 $3,474

12–24 m² (129–258 sq ft)

One number in that table is worth pausing on. A room the operator labels three-person runs from 7 m² (75 sq ft) at 615 S College St and The RailYard South End to 14 m² (151 sq ft), which eleven of the other fifteen buildings reach. The label is the same; the room is not. That is the single reason to compare the rooms in 3-6 person office space Charlotte on price and floor area together, and never on the headcount alone.

One more thing the label hides: capacity is a ceiling, so a smaller team can take a bigger room. The cheapest room in Charlotte that seats four is not a four-person room at all — it is the six-person room at 615 S College St, $870 against $900 for the lowest-priced four-person room. It is also the smallest room that seats four, at 12 m² (129 sq ft) — a size 615 S College St and The RailYard South End both list — which is exactly why you read the price and the floor area together.

Why the building sets your bill, not the room size

Run the arithmetic on every priced room in the city and a split appears. At 15 of the 17 buildings the monthly price is exactly one rate per person multiplied by the room’s listed capacity, and it holds across every capacity that building lists, not only the 3-6 rooms. A six-person room costs precisely twice a three-person room. There is no volume discount inside a building. The longest such run is at 128 S.Tryon, where one rate covers rooms from one person to 37.

Pick the room and you pick the size. Pick the building and you pick the bill.

Those 15 buildings carry the HQ, Regus and Spaces names, which are brands of the same company. Each of them still sets its own rate — that is where the real difference is — but the method is identical at all 15, so what reads as 15 independent pricing decisions is one formula applied 15 times. Worth knowing before you start calling: 15 of the 17 buildings sit behind one account team, and the 2 that do not are the WeWork buildings.

Using the rate card means comparing per-person rates, not room prices. Among those 15 buildings the range is $225 at 2303 W Morehead to $579 at 307 West Tremont Avenue and 3440 Toringdon Way — 2.6 times over, for the same headcount. That single choice is worth more than any negotiation over one room.

The 2 exceptions are the WeWork buildings, where the per-person figure moves from room to room. They are also the sharpest illustration of the point. Both list the identical pair of rooms — three people in 7 m² (75 sq ft), six in 12 m² (129 sq ft) — and they stand 0.5 miles apart. The three-person room is $390 at 615 S College St and $1,120 at The RailYard South End.

Floor area is not priced in Charlotte — headcount is

That follows from the rate card rather than being a separate discovery: where price is capacity times one rate, floor area cannot enter it. It is still the practical part. At 4037 E Independence a four-person room is $1,260 whether it measures 14 m² or 17 m² (151 or 183 sq ft), and 39 of the 54 building-and-team-size pairings in this band hold rooms of more than one floor area at a single price.

So when two rooms in the same building carry the same headcount and the same price, ask which one is bigger. The listing publishes the floor area on all 173 rooms, and the tables below carry it. At the two WeWork buildings the question does not arise: each lists exactly one room per capacity.

Every 3-6 person office space Charlotte listing, by team size

These four tables are the complete catalog of 3-6 person office space Charlotte: one per team size, each sorted by price, every room priced rather than left in a range for you to divide. Find your headcount, read down the price column, call the building. “Window” splits the rooms the operator marks external, meaning a room with an outside window, from those marked internal — an interior room with none. The date is the earliest move-in published for rooms of that size at that building; where a building publishes none, the listing is silent, which is not the same as the room being free now.

Rate and distance do not track each other. The four priced Uptown buildings rank 1st, 3rd, 4th and 9th of 17 on rate — none of them in the priciest third — while the two buildings at the top of the board sit 1.7 miles and 11.0 miles out.

Seven of these 17 buildings are already profiled room by room in the Charlotte office space guide. Eight of the remaining ten are below; 1101 Tyvola Road and 3117 Whiting Ave appear in the tables only.

What is included at this size, and what does the listing not say?

For private offices, facilities are published per building rather than per room: all 307 private office listings across Charlotte’s 18 buildings carry an empty room-level facility list, while each building publishes between 2 and 8 services of its own. The most common across the 17 priced buildings are catering (15 buildings), public parking nearby (14 buildings), public transit nearby (13 buildings) and breakout space (12 buildings).

Charlotte’s day offices, hot desks and meeting rooms work the other way around: every one of those 399 listings does carry a per-room facility list. If the fit-out of the room itself matters more to you than the building, that is where the detail is.

Two fields do go room by room, and both matter at this size. The first is the window label: 104 of the 173 rooms are marked external and 65 internal, with 4 unlabeled at 615 S College St and The RailYard South End. Of the 15 buildings that use the label in this band, 4037 E Independence is the only one where every 3-6 person room is external. The second is floor area, published on all 173.

Now the honest part, because it decides whether the numbers above are your whole bill. Every listing in 3-6 person office space Charlotte publishes a starting price, a floor area, a capacity, a minimum term, a move-in date where the operator has set one, and the building’s services. It publishes nothing about a deposit or service retainer, nothing about what parking costs, nothing about a longer-term rate, nothing about access hours or how the door is secured, and no room-by-room booking calendar — the availability field is empty on all 307 listings. Those are the questions to put in your first email, and they are why this product is quoted rather than booked.

How long is the minimum term, and when can you move in?

169 of the 173 rooms state a one-month minimum. The remaining 4 state no minimum term at all, and they are the rooms at 615 S College St and The RailYard South End. A one-month minimum is what makes this workable at this size: you are not signing three years, a build-out and a restoration clause to seat four people. What the listing does not say is what happens after that month — notice period and renewal are not published fields.

Move-in dates are the part of 3-6 person office space Charlotte worth reading slowly. Not one of the 173 rooms publishes a start date on or before today. 60 publish a future date, running from October 1, 2026 out to March 1, 2031 at 307 West Tremont Avenue, spread across 15 of the 17 buildings. 4 carry the note “Enquire for availability”, all of them at 615 S College St and The RailYard South End. The other 109 publish no start date whatsoever — which is not the same as the room being free now.

That is why the size tables above carry the date per team size rather than per building: a building whose earliest published date is October 1, 2026 may be offering it on a room that is the wrong size for you. Read the date on your own row, then ask.

3-6 Person Office Space Charlotte or coworking for the same team?

Charlotte has 13 buildings listing hot desks. A hot desk is booked rather than quoted, so the figure you pay is the operator’s rate plus a 10 percent booking fee: $42.90 to $97.90 a day all in, median $60.50 on a $55 rate. Put four people on hot desks at that median for 20 working days and you are at $4,840 a month — more than the highest-priced four-person private office room in the city, $2,316 at 307 West Tremont Avenue and 3440 Toringdon Way.

That room is itself about 2.6 times the lowest-priced four-person room, $900 at 2303 W Morehead. It is the per-person spread again, four seats at a time: $579 against $225.

So the break-even is a day count. At the median all-in hot-desk rate, four people need about 4 days each per month before the lowest-priced four-person private office is the better buy, and about 10 days each before the highest-priced one is. Treat both as an upper bound: the desk rate already carries the booking fee, while the office price is the room only. Below that threshold coworking wins on cost, and the options are in the Charlotte coworking space guide.

Cost is not the only axis. A private office gives you a room of your own, somewhere to leave a whiteboard, and an address that does not change. Hot desks give you a bill that stops when you stop coming. For a few days a month rather than a few days a week, a Charlotte day office sits between the two — 15 buildings, from $108.90 a day all in.

The same band is priced the same way in other markets — 3-6 person office space in Phoenix is built on the same per-person arithmetic — and the statewide picture is in the North Carolina office space guide.

Where these buildings sit

The city’s own economic development pages describe Charlotte as the largest city in North Carolina, with more than 964,000 residents; it is also the second-largest banking center in the nation, measured by control of assets. That shows up in this band. The four priced Uptown buildings in it — all in the 28202 ZIP, all within 0.5 miles of 101 North Tryon Street — span $130 to $345 per person between them.

Outside Uptown the rate for 3-6 person office space Charlotte does not fall in a straight line with distance. 307 West Tremont Avenue sits 1.7 miles out and ties for the top of the board, while 2303 W Morehead sits 1.9 miles out at $225, the lowest flat rate of the 15. Check the rate, not the ZIP code.

Eighteen Charlotte buildings list a private office in total. Expansive Uptown is the eighteenth and does not appear on any table here: its one private office listing publishes no price, no capacity and no floor area, so there is nothing to compare. Every price in 3-6 person office space Charlotte here is the operator’s published starting figure on September 14, 2026 and is indicative — a private office is quoted, so request a quote for the room and term you actually want.

Frequently asked questions

How much is 3-6 person office space Charlotte per month?

$390 to $3,474 a month, median $1,316, across the 173 rooms Wezoo lists for 3 to 6 people in 17 Charlotte buildings. By team size the lowest listed price in 3-6 person office space Charlotte is $390 for three people, $900 for four, $1,125 for five and $870 for six — the six-person floor undercuts the five-person one because it is a 12 m² room, the smallest six-person room in the city, and 615 S College St and The RailYard South End both list one. These are the operators’ published starting prices for the room; a private office is quoted on request, so confirm the figure for the specific room and term.

Which buildings have 3-6 person office space Charlotte available?

All 17 of Charlotte’s priced private office buildings list at least one room for 3 to 6 people, so the question is which one suits and when its rooms come free rather than which one has stock. None of the 173 rooms publishes a start date on or before today: 60 publish a future date, 4 say “Enquire for availability” and 109 publish none at all. 4037 E Independence is the only building where every 3-6 person room is marked external, meaning a room with an outside window, and SouthPark Towers has the widest choice at this size with 18 rooms.

What is the minimum term on 3-6 person office space Charlotte?

169 of the 173 rooms in the 3-6 person band state a one-month minimum term; the other 4, at 615 S College St and The RailYard South End, state no minimum at all. That is the practical difference from a conventional lease: a month rather than years, with furniture, internet, cleaning and reception already in place. No listing in 3-6 person office space Charlotte publishes a notice period or a renewal rate, so ask the operator for both before you sign.

How soon can you move into 3-6 person office space Charlotte?

Not one of the 173 rooms publishes a start date on or before today. 60 publish a future move-in date, from October 1, 2026 to March 1, 2031; 4 say “Enquire for availability”; and 109 publish no date at all — which is not the same as the room being free now. A building’s earliest date may also belong to a room of the wrong size for your team, so check the date against your own headcount and then send an inquiry.

Is a bigger room cheaper per person in Charlotte?

No. At 15 of the 17 buildings the monthly price is exactly one rate per person times the room’s listed capacity, across every capacity each of them lists, up to 37 people at 128 S.Tryon, so a six-person room costs precisely twice a three-person one. Only the 2 WeWork buildings price differently. Comparing buildings saves money at this size; comparing room sizes inside one building does not.

How big are the rooms in 3-6 person office space Charlotte?

Between 7 and 24 square meters (75 to 258 sq ft) across the band, and the spread inside one team size is wide: a three-person room runs 7 to 14 m² (75 to 151 sq ft), with the smallest at 615 S College St and The RailYard South End and eleven of the other fifteen buildings reaching the top of that range. The headcount on a listing is the room’s maximum occupancy, not a desk count, so compare the rooms in 3-6 person office space Charlotte on floor area and price together.

Should a team of four take 3-6 person office space Charlotte or coworking?

Charlotte hot desks run $42.90 to $97.90 a day all in, median $60.50. Four people at the median rate cost more than the highest-priced four-person private office room in Charlotte once each person is in about 10 days a month, and more than the lowest-priced one at about 4 days. The desk rates include a 10 percent booking fee and the office prices cover the room only, so treat both counts as an upper bound. Below that threshold coworking is cheaper; above it the private office wins on cost as well as on privacy.
