Three boardrooms are listed for booking, all laid out as boardrooms: two at four seats and one at eight, from £45.39 an hour excluding VAT (£54.47 including VAT), with a one-hour minimum booking and published room hours of Monday to Friday 08:30–17:30. Every one of the three carries the same kit list — flip-chart, large-display, video-conference-equipment, whiteboard, wifi. In principle yes, and the rule that governs it changed recently. Since 4 March 2024, section 86 of the Companies Act 2006 — as substituted by section 28 of the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023 — requires a company to keep its registered office at all times at an “appropriate address”.

The Act sets out the test in two parts. An address is appropriate if, in the ordinary course of events, a document delivered there by hand or by post “would be expected to come to the attention of a person acting on behalf of the company”, and if delivery there “is capable of being recorded by the obtaining of an acknowledgement of delivery”.
