A Montreal virtual office is a street address you can put on a letterhead, an invoice and a website, in a building with staff who sign for your post, without renting a desk in it. This guide lists all fourteen of them on Wezoo, with the district, the operator, the plan ladder and a working link for each. For the rest of the country, Wezoo’s complete guide to virtual offices in Canada covers every city. Cet article existe aussi en francais.
Fourteen is the whole set on the island, not a shortlist. Ten of the addresses carry a Montreal postal city, two are in Verdun, one in Saint-Laurent and one in Saint-Leonard. One thing to settle before you read on: a virtual office is requested, never booked by the hour.

What does a Montreal virtual office cost?
Every one of the fourteen addresses sells the same four step ladder, and the steps are easier to compare once you know what separates them.
The first step is the business address itself, with mail handling and parcel handling. That is the plan most people mean by a Montreal virtual office, and it runs from C$85 a month at 5455 De Gaspe Avenue in Mile End to C$155 a month at 500 Place d’Armes and 75 Queen Street. The second step adds call answering on top of the address, from C$205 to C$289. The third adds access to the coworking floor, from C$305 to C$439.
The fourth step is the one worth pointing at, because it does not move. Call answering sold on its own, without an address attached, is C$139 a month at all fourteen buildings, from Mile End to Anjou. The address is what you are paying a premium for in Montreal. The phone is priced the same everywhere.
That also sets a trap at two addresses. At 500 Place d’Armes and at 75 Queen Street the cheapest plan on the page is not the address plan, it is the C$139 phone plan, and the address starts above it at C$155. Everywhere else the address plan is the cheapest thing in the building. Read what the plan contains before you read the figure.
Every plan at every address carries a one month minimum term. Those figures are starting prices, so treat them as floors rather than quotes.
Is a Montreal business address accepted for company registration?
This is the question the search results argue about, so here is the honest answer rather than a confident one.
A registered office address and a mailing address are not the same thing. The first is a legal designation attached to a company; the second is simply where post arrives. A virtual office gives you a real street address in a staffed building, which is what makes it a credible mailing address, and it is also what makes the registration question worth asking rather than assuming.
Two parties settle that question, and Wezoo is neither of them. The first is the authority you file with, which sets what an address must be for your jurisdiction and your type of company. The second is the operator of the building, whose own service terms state what they will accept their address being used for, and who has to be willing to receive official correspondence on your behalf. Those terms differ between operators and sometimes between buildings run by the same operator.
So: confirm it with the registry you are filing with, and confirm it with the operator, before you file anything. Ask the operator in writing whether the plan you are buying permits registered office use and what proof of address they can issue. This page describes what is listed and what it costs.
This article is general information and is not legal, tax or financial advice. Rules differ by jurisdiction and change over time. Check your own situation with a qualified lawyer or accountant, and confirm that an address is acceptable both with the registry you file with and with the operator of the building. Which Montreal districts carry the most weight for a business address
A registered address is judged on where it is, which is why this is not a filler section. Every Montreal virtual office in the set falls into one of three bands, and the price tells you which band you are in before the map does.
The central band is the dearest and the deepest. 500 Place d’Armes and 75 Queen Street top the set at C$155, and 240 Saint-Jacques Street sits just under them at C$119. Those three put you in Old Montreal and the Quartier International, where the law firms, the notaries and the courthouse are. Three of the four downtown towers, IA Tower, Cathcart and McGill and 1250 Rene Levesque, all open at C$115 on McGill College Avenue and the boulevard.
The middle band is the inner suburbs, and it is where the value sits. 5455 De Gaspe Avenue in Mile End is the cheapest address in the whole set at C$85, in the district most of the city’s design and software studios already work from, which makes it read as a deliberate choice rather than a budget one. 14 Place du Commerce on Ile des Soeurs and 4012 Wellington in Verdun both open at C$89.
The outer band is built around the motorways rather than the metro. 1111 Dr-Frederik-Philips Boulevard in Saint-Laurent sits in the aerospace and technology corridor near the airport, at C$89 and with more listed on site than any other address at that price. 1100 Boulevard Cremazie Est is on the Metropolitain at C$95, 7400 Boulevard des Galeries-d’Anjou is at the Highway 40 and Highway 25 interchange at C$99, and 5995 Des Grandes-Prairies Boulevard in Saint-Leonard closes the set at C$89.
The one thing the price does not tell you is the postal city. Ten of the fourteen are addressed Montreal. Two are addressed Verdun, one Saint-Laurent and one Saint-Leonard, and that is what a client reads on your invoice. All four of those are boroughs of the same city and all four are on the island, but if you want the word Montreal in the address itself, that narrows the fourteen to ten.
Who uses a Montreal business address, and who should not
A Montreal virtual office earns its keep for a consultant or a contractor working from home who does not want a residential address on a public filing, for a company outside Quebec that needs a credible Montreal presence before it commits to space, for a founder whose team is remote and whose only shared need is somewhere for post to land, and for anyone whose current address is a mailbox at a shipping shop and who has noticed that clients can tell.
It is the wrong product in three cases. If you need somewhere to work, this is not it: only the top plan opens the coworking floor, and if that is the point you are buying the wrong thing. If you need to receive clients, a meeting room is the product for that, charged by the hour and available on demand. And if a licence, a permit or a regulator requires premises you genuinely occupy, an address plan will not satisfy it, however real the building is.
There is also a quieter case against. If every piece of post you expect is digital, you may not need an address at all. Buy one because it does something for you, not because the price is small.
How to request a Montreal virtual office on Wezoo
No Montreal virtual office in this set is instantly bookable. It is not that kind of product, so the sequence matters more than the speed.
- Decide which of the three bands you want before you compare any prices: central, inner suburb or motorway. Commute and credibility decide more here than C$30 a month does.
- Decide whether you need the phone. It is C$139 a month everywhere as a plan of its own, and it is the single largest step on the ladder at every address.
- Send your request to two or three buildings on the same day, so the replies land together and stay comparable.
- Ask every operator the same two questions in writing: what the plan permits the address to be used for, and what proof of address they issue.
-
Compare what came back, then sign with the operator directly. The one month term means a wrong choice costs you a month, not a year.
Nearby, Wezoo also lists virtual offices in Laval across the Riviere des Prairies.

Montreal virtual office: FAQ
How much does a Montreal virtual office cost per month?
The business address plan, which includes mail and parcel handling, runs from C$85 a month at 5455 De Gaspe Avenue in Mile End to C$155 a month at 500 Place d’Armes and 75 Queen Street. Add call answering and the range is C$205 to C$289. The full plan, which also gives you access to the coworking floor, runs from C$305 to C$439. Every plan at every address carries a one month minimum term.
Can I book a Montreal virtual office online?
No. A virtual office is requested, not booked. You send a request through Wezoo, the operator comes back with the plan, the term and the all in price, and you sign with them directly. Meeting rooms and day offices are the products you book by the hour; an address is not one of them.
Is a virtual office legal in Canada?
A virtual office is a real street address in a staffed building, together with mail handling and, on the higher plans, call answering. Whether a given address may also serve as the registered office of a company is a separate question, and it is settled by two parties: the authority you file with, which sets the rules for your jurisdiction and your company type, and the operator of the building, whose own terms say what they will and will not accept. Wezoo does not publish either answer, so confirm both before you file. This page is general information about what is listed, not legal advice.
Do banks accept a virtual address?
That is the bank’s decision, not ours and not the operator’s. Banks set their own identity and address requirements and they differ between institutions and between account types. Ask the bank what it needs in writing, and ask the operator what documentation they can supply, before you commit to a plan.
Can I get a virtual mailing address in Montreal?
Yes. Every Montreal virtual office listed here is a real street address, and mail handling and parcel handling are part of the entry plan at all fourteen, so the cheapest plan in the set already covers receiving post. What the entry plan does not include anywhere in Montreal is call answering, which is sold as its own plan at C$139 a month at every one of the fourteen.
Which Montreal virtual office is the cheapest?
5455 De Gaspe Avenue in Mile End, at C$85 a month for the business address plan. Four more addresses open at C$89: 2001 Boulevard Robert Bourassa downtown, 14 Place du Commerce and 4012 Wellington in Verdun, 1111 Dr-Frederik-Philips Boulevard in Saint-Laurent and 5995 Des Grandes-Prairies Boulevard in Saint-Leonard.
The short version
Fourteen addresses on the island, one month minimum on every plan, a business address from C$85 in Mile End to C$155 in Old Montreal, and call answering at a flat C$139 wherever you go. That is the whole of the Montreal virtual office market on Wezoo today. Pick the district first, check what the plan permits with the operator and with the registry second, and treat the price as the last question rather than the first.
