We attach great importance to the protection, confidentiality and integrity of your Personal Data. In this privacy statement we explain which Personal Data we collect when you use our Platform, why we need this data and how we use it.

Our services

Our Platform allows for the Booking of Products, such as meeting rooms, as part of its offering. This privacy statement is applicable to this Booking Service and the Platform as a whole.

Which personal data is collected?

We need certain Personal data in order to offer you this Booking Service. Some of this information is provided directly, for example when you book a Product through our Platform. In addition, we receive certain Personal Data indirectly via your devices, through the interaction with our services (including via cookies). This allows us to personalise and improve our Platform

Your Personal Data is stored in the EU for hosting and maintenance and is mainly processed by our staff in the Netherlands. We guarantee that your data and rights are appropriately protected in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable local privacy laws.

How long do we keep your personal data?

We will retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which the information was collected, or as long as is required pursuant to law. Data may be retained longer in cases where it is used in relation to a legal claim or is used in relation to a valid legal process.

If you want to submit a request for the restriction of processing, you can contact our customer support through support@wezoo.com. We will respond within 30 days of receiving such requests.

Lawful basis for data processing

We only collect and process your Personal Data when there is a lawful basis to do so. The lawful basis we rely on in this respect includes:

If you have given your consent to the processing, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. We will discontinue the processing of your information upon receipt of your withdrawal. However, any processing performed prior to your withdrawal remains a legitimate processing based on a valid consent at the time. We will not be under the obligation to reverse the processing.

Third Parties

At Wezoo, we partner with various third-party service providers to improve our services. Some of these partners may process your Personal Data. We carefully select these partners to ensure they comply with the GDPR and adhere to local privacy laws. However, it’s important to be informed that we do not always control their data processing practices. Please be aware of this, especially when our Platform makes use of a third-party environment, such as Gmail or Outlook, to support the Booking Service.

If we sell or transfer our business, in whole or in part, to a third party, in some cases we will provide your data to the new owner as part of that transaction, but only if it is legally permitted.

Wezoo is entitled to change this Privacy Statement from time to time. For the latest version we refer you to our website.

Responsible entity

The Wezoo services are offered by Wezoo B.V. with a registered office at Herengracht 420, Amsterdam 1017BZ, The Netherlands, registered with the Dutch trade register under number 75625601. Decisions regarding the purposes and means of the processing of Personal Data take place at Wezoo B.V., or its affiliated entities, which acts as controller for the processing of this Personal Data. 

Definitions
“Agreement”means the Terms and Conditions you are bound by for requesting a Booking through our Platform.
“Booking(s)” or “Booking Service(s)”means all the functionality within the Platform to successfully sell Product to you. 
“Location(s)”means the party offering its Products through the Platform.
“Personal Data”any information relating to You, as defined in article 4, (1) of the GDPR; an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person; 
“Platform”means our services; website; our backend technologies, functions, servers, databases; working management systems; and our other products, services, content, features, technologies, functions, applications, and related websites or other applications; and any future updates, changes, revisions or additions thereto, that are related to Products offered.
“Product(s)”an offering with a similar group of characteristics found at a Location.
“You(r)” or “you(r)”means the individual using our Platform.
“Wezoo”, “we”, “us”, “our”mean Wezoo, Wezoo B.V., and its affiliates.
